Q: Does the company still sell the decanter with the thicker glass?

This is the only replacement decanter available at this time

I measured 8 cups (64 oz) capacity if you fill it up to right past the top of the ribbed portion.

Q: does this decantor come with a lid?

Decanters shipped from Ahh..Cupella Coffee Co come with a lid.

Q: Are these made from Borosilicate glass?

I don't know. I can tell you that these are made in Germany. On the decanter, it reads "Caution; For Cold Liquids Only; Do Not Use Metal Stirrer; Not For Freezer Or Rangetop Use".
