I really wanted to like these shoes, because they look really cool. I ordered both the navy and taupe colors, in the same size but from different retailers. The toe box of the navy shoe was very uncomfortable and stiff. I could not manage to keep them on my feet to wander around the apartment for more than a few minutes.The taupe pair (which I did not order here), was much more comfortable initially, but has still turned out to be a pair of shoes that I cannot comfortably wear for an entire day, which is really disappointing for a pair of sneakers. The toe material of the toe box is weird and stiff, and the sole of the shoe has a weird design that initially seems like walking on clouds but offers very little support when worn for a few hours.

I returned these because the base of the shoe is smaller than the rest. It's hard to explain but look closely at the picture around the toes and you can see how the main part of the shoe sticks out further than the underneath. So when I stood & did a test walk, my foot did not feel stable. I have a slightly wide foot and need extra room in the toe area. I am usually between an 8.5 to 9. I bought the 9 thinking they looked a little narrow but it was actually to wide/loose around my foot and that probably played a part in the unstable feeling.I hated to return them because it is really hard to find cute , comfortable, youthful-ish shoes that I can wear to work but they just did not work for me.

I wore them once and they immediately began to stretch on the black leathery areas. By the end of the day those areas peeled off making them look like they were 20 years old. This is not what I expected from Cobb Hill shoes.

Bought these for casual everyday sort of wear and they were fine, but they have fallen apart. The rubber around the front of the shoe has peeled away and the soles are falling apart, too. I'm disappointed because I love Cobb Hill's leather shoes and hoped that these would be a nice casual option.

I am returning these shoes, even though I hate having to do it. They are just not as comfy as other Cobb Hill boots or shoes....they have a small sole base, makes it hard to walk comfortably. Something just feels very wrong with each step. Odd. I am very disappointed as I usually love anything Cobb Hill makes!

I have had lots of comments on these shoes. They are so much nicer than just plain ole tennies! Noone can believe they are 'new balance' They provide a great deal of support and are very comfortable. however, I was quite surprised as I was walking between our two properties to have a cactus thorn poke thru the bottom... Because of the support they provide, I just expected they were thicker than they are! They are NOT made for walking thru the desert!! Okay, so maybe the suede should have given that part away - LOL! I enjoy these greatly

I had to return. The shoes were supposed to be brand new. They were already peeling. I wish I could replace them!! That was not offered

Looking at these shoes you would think they'd be comfortable, right? I think they are cute and seem well-made but they were very uncomfortable from the get-go. I thought I just needed to break them in but 6 days after the "return window" closed I realized they are never going to get any better. The bottoms are weirdly designed and not stable and the insert is too high in the heel and has very little support in the toe area. Very poor design.
