Family History Record Book: An 8-generation family tree workbook to record your research

Exactly as advertised, keeps all the info I'm recording in a nice order for reference. It's simple, easy to use, and well laid out. Would recommend.

I liked everything about this book. And was so excited to be able to write things down not just have them on Ancestry. Suggestion, dates could use a little more room. Other than that it's perfect. Love that it has a note section for each person in book so you may right other facts. All and all I would say this was worth the money.

This is a very simple, pedigree style family history record book.There are pages to for additional information on each person, but it has limited space.There isn't space for branching out with information on children, siblings, aunts/uncles, cousins, etc. Only direct lineage.Also, my particular copy was defective. I foolishly wrote on the cover before thoroughly looking through it, or I would return it. A few pages were barely attached, and some print was crooked. I'll have to tape them in place. I'll keep it as a simple organizer for other research.I also purchased, but will now return, the second edition for generations 9 & 10 because I'm looking for something more in depth, and not solely pedigree.It does stick with the basics and list men vs women (and not modern "non-binary" options), and simply numbers people for quick reference. Those are "pros".

The space needs to be a little bigger to write in information...the space for dates you gotta write small and close together

I love that I have a specific place to write down my ancestors.

A good size book, clear and easy to follow instructions on how to use the book correctly, there is plenty of space to add information, I will be buying several more of these for other family members.

In India, mostly we a wide joint family. The book does not allow to capture all members. Tree charts are missing. Baptism and burial is not done in Hindu families.

There is at least one misprint where the number 6 is repeated (it goes 5, 6, 6, 7) which is annoying because everything is organized by number and I messed up the location of a name. I’m hoping there are no other issues. It’s also worth noting that every individual has “baptism” already printed for the entry, I find this weird since not everyone is baptized and I could use the space for something else. Nothing else is pre-printed apart from birth, death, and burial so baptism is random. Overall this is a great idea but the error and “baptism” thing are weird and the paper quality isn’t the best. It works for the price but now that I’m getting into it I wish I had spent more to get a better quality book without these issues.
