Weekend at Bernie's (WS/FS/RPKG/DVD)

I love this movie, and that started when I was a kid. The acting is superb (and who doesn't like Andrew McCarthy and Jonathan Silverman?) and done with heart in addition to humor. Plus, Terry Kiser, the actor playing Bernie, only did 1 thing where it wasn't him as dead Bernie (hitting the marker bells in the water) -- he broke 3 ribs filming it! Knowing all of that as an adult makes me have an even greater appreciation for it. In addition ti the acting, the writing and storyline are still great, especially for an 80's movie... which tend to not age so well. This one does. Enjoy!

My nephews (6&9), fast forward to the*good parts," any part w/ dead Bernie. Ordering #2 for Christmas. Still hilarious to me @ 42! The everything '80's clothing, computers, Decór; trips me out. Oldie but goodie!

This is a classic movie and can be watched over and over. It is a great comedy and all should see it at one time in their life.

30年近く前に小学生の時弟と夜中に放送されて見た僅か20分くらいのシーンが強烈に笑って、忘れられない作品でした。何故かその時一緒に見た弟も覚えているので、「死体•コメディ•映画」など少ないヒントを頼りに知恵袋サイトを覗き、タイトルやレビューなどを確認しつつ辿りつきました。結果やっぱりこの作品でした。今は私の小学生の子供達も英語が分からずとも、一緒に見てゲラゲラ笑ってました。同列で抱腹絶倒レベルはメリーに首ったけぐらいですが、下ネタが中心なのでメリーはまだ子供達には見せられません。この作品も現代の倫理観では厳しい家庭では難しいでしょうが、グロさとか胸糞とかは無いです。おバカコメディを追求したって感じです。何も考えず笑えます。恋愛もほぼ無く、アクションもミステリーも無い純粋なコメディです。ただし英語が分からないのもあり、導入部分は長めです。言葉は分からずとも最後の1時間くらいは、ホントに笑い過ぎて腹筋崩壊しました。日本では手に入れる方法があまり無い作品なので、2000円未満で買えて良かったです。届くまで少し時間はかかりましたが。一番笑えるコメディは何か聞かれたらこの作品を答えます。日本での公式販売はされていない様ですから、入手方法が限られますが。この映画を最後まで見た人に聞きたい。これよりも笑えるコメディ映画は何か教えて欲しいと。
