Convenient & packs well
Fit in backpack well. We did use one on our hike. Sealed up well and no nasty smell as we packed it out.

superb for mandated leave no trace in nps wilderness areas. packet of toilet paper and wipes inadequate for 1 poop, much less 2. based on reviews, supplemented. much odor leakage despite superb seal and outer bag.

If you ever need to poo in the woods, these are the bags you want!
We bought these for a trip to the Rubicon Trail, where absolutely everything is rock and there is no way you are going to be able to dig a hole in order to do your business. These are great! Simply find a private location, open up the bag, hold it tight to your cheeks , squat down a little for stability, and go. When done, tuck everything neatly into the bag and zip it (like a ziplock!). Throw the bag away in any trash can. Important to note…in no way is the small amount of toilet paper they include with this kit ever going to be enough, so pack extra!

Served its purpose
Kayak river camping and we had to carry out our waste. The system worked well, but there was a learning curve!

GREAT product!!
I got one of these initially from the Park Service when we went on a back country canoe trip. They are a FANTASTIC idea for backpackers or anyone using the backcountry/wilderness. Easy to use and at the end of the trip just tighten the drawstring, push the top back into the heavy cover and velcro shut. Bring it out in your garbage bag because it is leak proof.PLEASE START USING THESE ON ALL YOUR BACKPACK TRIPS!!!

An outdoor experience
These are very nice to have if you have ibs and love the outdoors. I have sudden bouts of needing a facility and there are times that digging a hole or finding an outdoor private area is difficult. This is something you could use in your tent or in the back of a van if necessary. When that feeling hits and you need help right away, these can be there for you. I keep one in my zippered coat pocket all the time for emergencies.

They’re ok
I took these on a backpacking trip where we had to pack everything out. They fly away when you’re trying to drop one when it’s windy. They’re also pretty smelly when you have to pack 4 of them out on your back.
