I really wanted this filter to work...
I bought this along with a Tamron 70-200mm F/2.8 lens. I gave into the temptation of such a cheap price for a 77mm CP with great reviews.I loved how it was packaged and the case it came in. I was really excited. But...my results were bland. Oh how I wanted this filter to work. I took it on a week long trip to photograph aircraft, both in the sky and on the ground. A CP helps make the skies vibrant and you need a CP to get rid of reflections in the paint of people standing around. I could not tell any difference between the shots with the CP and without. None. Not through the eyepiece or on the computer screen. I've got 15+ years behind a camera so I know how to use a CP. I was expecting it to be as good as my old Hoya that I have for my other lenses. Nope. It worked more as a density filter as it was about 2+ stops slower with no effect. My fault for trying to put a $30 filter on a $1300 lens.I returned it and bought a B+W XS-Pro. It's 3 times the cost and 100% better results. You always read don't buy cheap glass, it will haunt you. Man I wanted this to work, but it didn't. Try it if you want, maybe you will get lucky. If ya do buy it, buy with enough time to exchange before your trip. Mine arrived the day we left (my fault also). If it doesn't work for you, Amazon was excellent in the exchange process.

A high quality 360 degree circular polarizing filter.
The item was exactly as described, from everything I could determine a first class quality product. In some quick tests I compared it’s performance with a Nikon sourced polarizing filter model code: HN-12 for Polar Filter, size 52 mm. My test shots indicate no visible performance difference. There is however one difference that should be explained in the support information of the LENSKINS 67 mm CPL Circular Polarizing filter. This filter is 360 degrees rotatable, i.e. you can rotate the filter to the point of maximum polarizing effect and if you continue rotation in the same direction your end up at a point of minimum polarizing effect and so on. The Nikon system is set up to permit only a partial rotation from minimum to maximum polarization. If you are not used to the 360 degree rotation capability, the initial experience can be slightly confusing. However the 360 degree capability probably makes the LENSKINS 67 mm CPL Circular Polarizing filter perform better over a wider range of focal length lenses, but requires some experimentation to achieve an optimum result. The aforementioned Nikon sourced polarizing filter for example indicates that the filter, while usable over a focal length from 35 to 200 mm, the best results are achieved for a focal length from 65 to 200 mm. I encourage LENSKINS to address these aspects in their user information and sales description of their polarizing filters. Otherwise, a good product!

Nice for landscapes with water
I went to the Adirondacks to shoot rivers and waterfalls. The filter performed well for the price. I lose filters all the time and this one didn't break the bank. The filter was nice and thin and easy to adjust while out on the field. No weird vignetting on my images. I bought the ND 10 stop also.

The quality is just BAD!!!
I got this to be used with a Panasonic G85 in a trip to Oahu. This is either a bad product or I got the worst lemon in the rack. The quality is not there. My expectations where high when I received the product. Nice package, looks great but there is were the good stuff stop. I installed the filter and I start using it. Different moments of the day, sunny or cloudy, this is not producing any results. I got an old CPL filter from Bestbuy a few years ago ...wowww... that was amazing. This is NOT!!! Is very easy to notice the difference especially around water (beach) and any landscape with clear sky. The old one from Bestbuy makes the image so real and vibrant and this one is just flat. I am very disappointed. I got way better pictures without the filter !!! I wish I try another one, maybe I just got a lemon, but not on my money. I will see if Amazon will accept a return on this. I hope so if not...This is just my experience a few weeks ago.

First impression is great.
Delivery was fast. I tried this filter today for the first time. It does what it should do - creates a nice deep contrast in the sky and eliminates/intencifies reflections when needed. Rotation is easy. I can't comment on the durability as I used it only one time but my first impression is great. The only thing I don't like is a bulky case - significantly larger than those of my other filters of the same diameter.
