I bought this with the intention of creating a wireless network while in a remote area so that connected devices could share information on a secure network and remote desktop operations could be used. It was easy to set up the wifi network with a secure login. The wireless range isn't great, but given the small size I was pleasantly surprised. I can be inside and use this to connect and control equipment outside on the patio. It uses b/g/n protocols on 2.4ghz at up to 150Mbps. I tested the speed and both my transmit and receive rates peaked at 150Mbps - that's 4G speed. The included manual isn't very useful. Fortunately, the typical admin controls are available using an intuitive browser interface. So far it has been stable and works without any issues.

I returned this item 9/7/24, a second one was delivered the next day, and I returned it. because it failed to connect with Wi-Fi....I just want my refund!

I bought this product because I am sensitive to WIFI radiation and so I wanted something low power to transmit a signal to my phone, and this product works extremely well for that. Note the user instructions are almost useless so setting it up is a hassle, but if you have a computer that can connect to wifi thats the way to do it.
