Yoga Mat -1/4 Inch Print Extra Pattern Thick Fitness Exercise Mat Non Slip for All Types of Yoga, Pilates & Floor Workouts

When I first unboxed this mat, I loved the strap included and the textured pebble black print on this mat. The first thing you'll notice is the backside does not skid or move when you doing yoga. The top side has a feel like memory foam when you press down, your fingers sink into the mat. I guess that's why they call it 1/4 inch - 1/8 inch when you put pressure on it. I found this mat very good for any light non-sweaty yoga. Arm balances, updog, and downward dog and warrior poses were just fine on this mat. When I did wheel pose, I found my fingers and feet slipping a little and probably didn't help that my hands started to perspire. The grout lines do help with traction and overall it held up pretty well. Maybe if I would have chosen a different design texture on top, that might also have some influence on the nonslip surface of the mat. You can't beat it for a quality mat you get at this price range.

I saw some bad reviews for this mat and honestly I'm not sure if the costumers got a defective mat, if they didn't clean it properly (with yoga mat approved cleaner) or if the mat has been improved since the reviews were written but I have had no problem with it at all. I have not cleaned it so I can't comment on that but it has gone to the gym with me several times now and I see no wear so far. I'll add I do take care to keep my shoes off the mat at the gym, I only stand on it in socks. I do floor stretches and warmup exercises before my workout and it's beautiful and unique and I love it! I saw a review were someone had the print come off on their knee and so upon receiving this mat I licked my thumb and rubbed it back and forth on the mat quickly to see if I could get anything to rub off and nothing came off at all. Like I said, I don't know if it was defective or improperly cleaned but I have had no problems with it. It came well packaged, shipping was ahead of schedule and I have no problem with the mat stap that was included. (I sometimes walk to the gym over a mile away so I've really used it!) No lose threads or anything. The mat is comfortable to lay on as well. The graphic is bright and clear. I'm glad I took a chance on it dispite the reviews. I've noticed a lot of full graphic yoga mats on Amazon are kinda pricey so I was glad to find this one for only $25. I would recommend this mat to a friend.

I didn't realize I was using a crappy yoga mat until I bought this.I used to do a lot of yoga, and I could always feel the floor through the mat. It was really uncomfortable. Then I bought this to replace an old mat and . . . wow.This mat is perfect. It's nice and thick and comfortable. I use it while I'm lifting dumbbells. Skullcrushers, etc, stuff that requires me to lie on my back. It's pretty great.

I purchased this mat a month ago and have only used it a total of 8 times. While the mat itself seems fairly decent and comfortable, the color is already coming off and there are white streaks all over the mat. This includes around the edges and in spots, like towards the top of the mat, that I’ve barely touched. I can understand the color fading over time, but to have this happen in such a short time period is unacceptable. I will be returning this mat for a refund. Such a shame because it otherwise seemed like a good mat. Save your money and find another option.

I have the navy/light blue mat, and an added surprise of a towel! I really like the pattern on this mat! It reminds me of water. I sort of get lost in it!This mat is really grippy, and does not slide around on my slick wood floors like many other mats I own do. The mat feels cushioned, but not so much you lose stability in balancing poses which is really important. I don’t ever feel like I “bottom out” if doing a high pressure pose either. It is a great mat for just about all poses

So disappointed in this mat. At first opening it’s perfect, soft and cushioned and my hands don’t slip. But I haven’t even had it a month, received it April 19 and today is May 13th and I only use it maybe once or twice a week for ab work and a few laying down workouts and stretches but it’s already falling apart (see pictures). This mat is nice maybe if you’re only going to use it to lay on it and it’s definitely not the cheapest mat out there so I feel jipped

This is a nice thick mat to add some cushion to your workouts. I’ve been using it it for about 2 months now, 4-5xs a week and it’s held up very well, has not fallen apart like some cheaper mats will do. Can be slick at first, but is better now. I have noticed the color is fading, and it gets discoloration if I leave my weights on the mat for several days. Still a good mat, and does the job!

My mat arrived very quickly so it started off on a good note and I was happy opening my box as I examined my mat. The first thing I noticed was how soft and thick the mat was. It was comfortable to use during my practice both inside and outside in my yard and back deck. This mat also has particularly good grip and worked well with or without yoga socks. I've had several mats over the years and would rank this as one of my favorites. It's a great value for the price and a valuable asset for any Yogi.
