SmartishIphone 12/12 Pro Armor Case - Gripzilla [Rugged + Protective] Slim Tough Grip Cover - Gray Area

Feels great in the hand. Just a heads up it does not work with Magsafe docks or chargers. Overall I am happy with the quality and feel.

Researched for a very grippy iPhone 12 Pro case, the Smartish Gripzilla seemed well received. Bought one, it certainly fits my hand well but as it's made from what feels a quite hard material it’s not nearly as grippy as my old Surphy Liquid Silicon case. Nicely made though.

(update 1/4/20: I really love this case. One note to add though. *one* of my Qi chargers (RAV power brand) does not play well with this case. Sometimes it will charge immediate w/ the RAV. Other times I have to fiddle with it. HOWEVER, the case plays perfectly with my Samsung and Incipio Qi chargers, both old 5w models. So if you have charging issues, try a different charger).I bought this case along with the Kung Fu case. I did not like the Kung Fu model because of the lack of button feedback and camera protection. But this model doesn't have those deficiencies. The buttons are nice and "clicky" so you know the button was engaged and the case is more built-up offering what seems to be better protection for the camera and phone case in general. I only wish it came in the same blue as the Kung Fu. The notches on the side work as advertised and needed, especially for small hands.If there is a downside to this case it's that it makes the iPhone 12 Pro feel even heavier than it already is. I don't know if this is true for similar built up cases or if it's the materials used in this one. So if weight is a consideration keep that in mind.

I bought this because “grippiness” is a priority for me. But when I started to use this I was not impressed by the grippiness of the material at all. In fact I found it to be very slippery. I’ve had this case for several months now and I continue to drop my phone almost daily. Luckily, this case is rugged enough to protect my phone from all the repeated drops. Kudos to the manufacturer for this.I’ve come to realize why this is so. I tend to have dry hands. Dry hands + this case = very slippery!But when I have a fresh coat of hand lotion on my hands or when I just washed my hands and my hands are still a little damp, then I feel very strong grip with this case. But a few minutes later when my dry hands come back, this case becomes slippery again.So to those out there who suffer from dry hands like me, you may notice that this case is surprisingly slippery

I love this case. It’s durable. Feels great in your hand. And best of all, it protects your phone. This is my 2nd gripzilla case. First one was great. It lasted about a year and half until it started splitting apart at the seams. Not sure why it did that. Maybe I got a lemon. Honestly I could have probably still used the case but for personal preference I thought I should just get a new one. All in all, I’d buy this case over and over again. I’ve dropped my iPhone 12 dozens of times and no damage what so ever! Buy this case, you’ll thank yourself later.

Tired of the same cases everyone has and pays way too much for? Then this is for you. Small company, so things are fine right. Screen and camera protection as the case is raised. I have a tempered glass on my iPhone 12, and the lip is still higher to keep the screen protector form damage. EXCELLENT grip! The sides are textured with finger ridges similar to a handle with finger groves. Case slides in and out of pockets with ease. It took my adhesive magnetic plate just fine and holds well in the car; hasn’t popped off. For this reason, I would imagine you could use not only the metal plate, but a ring or pop socket, or whatever else you want to put there. And the look is amazing. This looks nothing like a played out otter box, life proof, or these silly silicone things folks have. 100% for durability, functionality, and originality. Very happy with my purchase.
