I love this cleanser!!!I doubted its ability to clean my skin as well as the foaming rinse-off types.I can go w/o makeup for days, use this AM/PM and I am shocked that there is any color from cleaning day-to-day environmental stuff, oil and epidermal cells on the tissue.My skin is combo sensitive in summer and dry, red reactive in winter.I liked and was using  La Roche-Posay Toleriane Gentle Dermo-Cleanser (200ml) 6.76 Fluid Ounces  or wipes from  Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes (25 wipes) , Olay Wet Cleansing Towelette - Sensitive 30 Count (Pack of 2)  and  Yes To Cucumbers Eye Makeup Remover Pads, 45 Count .I switched from wipes to the foaming cleanser in the fall. My skin was quickly becoming very flame red in the center of my face. The weather got dry and cold very fast which made my red skin more sensitive and inflamed. The wipes were a tad too abasive. I liked the La-Roche cleanser at first re skin texture post-cleaning but as the air got drier it was stipping my skin too squeaky dry. Also, I forgot how I hate splashing and splashing to rinse and soaking the counter, mirror and my clothes with a rinse-off cleanser.My redness was getting worse. I searched for "hypo-allergenic, fragrance free, gluten free" for hair, skin and body then followed up on Environmental Working Group website to check for harmful ingredients. There are almost no cleansers that met my search criteria. Many had yucky chemicals or a long list of herbs and extracts that could easily cause reactions.I read the Avene website and watched how to cleanse and moisturize sensitive skin. Boy, was that eye-opening!?! I have been way too rough on my skin! (guilt, guilt) I found and ordererd this, the  Avene Tolerance extreme Cleansing lotion, , Net Wt. 1.69 oz. Package  and the  Avene Eluage Eye Contour Care 0.5 fl oz. .I love this product (all three products). It cleans so gently and so thoroughly, even eye make-up.I use a little eye makeup remover first for some waterproof mascaras. I love how easy this is to use and how wonderful my skin feels after. I have followed with the wipes I mentioned to see if there is makeup left behind and there is not. Re my make-up, I wear BB/CC cream and a powder to set +/- bronzer, or primer, light to medium coverage water-based foundation, concealer, matte shadow, creme blush, gel or pencil liner, 2 coats H20 proof mascara, lipstick or gloss. My face feels great after using just the cleanser. I can skip moisturizer if using BB/CC or tinted moist.This is a wonderful product for my fragrance/chemical/allergy sensitive red/reactive skin. I have previously been using Clinique's redness solutions range when I came about this product & oh what a difference, its very soft going on your skin & my skin is hyper sensitive to most things but this just feels so nice & it works it cleanse my skin so well, this is the perfect cleanser & even more so if you have sensitive skin, I can only say give it a try I'm sure you won't be disappointed.It is a good size bottle too & you only need a small amount & gently rub it over your face & gently wipe it off, I usually use it twice as my skin is so sensitive just to make sure it is cleansed properly but I get such a minimal amount of make up on the cotton bud on the second time so its probably me just being over cautions doing it twice.I love this product & hope it is never discontinued, I become a big fan of Avene since I recently started using their products so I can only say give it a try I am sure you will not regret it.
