As far as I know it's high quality Emory cloth, but the dispenser is a great idea, just tear off a piece and get the job done.

Good cloth but as others have pointed out this is a small hobby box… if you are a fabricator you might want to get bigger single grit boxes.

I have ordered this sanding dispenser before and love it ! I use this on my mini lathe and it is the perfect thing for your sanding.

every roll has a rubber band around it. And I understand why they did it but, I literally had to deconstruct the whole thing to get rubber bands off. It was a royal pain to put back together. Only to find out they were in the opposite order. Then, I don’t know what this paper is made of but I can barely tear it to take a piece. If I had to do again, I would’ve poked some scissors in the opening and just cut the rubber bands off… hindsight. But really I think this stuff is maybe for a machine as it is so hard to tear. Not what I was looking for. Oh well.

I work on a lot of old and new cars as a hobby this is a must and reasonably priced compared going to parts house to have sitting on top of the old tool box different grits is a plus
