Spigen Slim Armor Pro Designed for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 Case (2020) - Black

This is the case you want. I bought the slimmer version made by Spigen and it was truly flimsy and not designed well. This case is rugged, feels dense and sturdy, protects the essential drop points, and isn't too pricey. The hinge cover is designed well, but it prevents you from laying the phone down on a flat surface (makes a see-saw). The two pieces of the case adhere to the phone by small adhesive pads. In my case, at least three of the little stickers ended up getting pulled off when I tried to remove the plastic strip covers. The case is still very well adhered to the phone due to the tight fit of the design. This case feels like it should be shipped with the phone, it checks every block I have. In the other Spigen case, the only charger I could use was the cord supplied with the phone, whereas this case has more room for third party charging cables. The finish is matte satin and surprisingly does not attract dirt and oil when used in a normal environment or placed in a linty pocket. The only minor flaw is how close the case gets to the screen area. On the front screen, the case almost makes swiping down for notifications a real pain. The solution to this is to swipe down from where the case has a section cut out for the camera, as it gives the screen more room to recognize your finger. Some minor dust and dirt may accumulate in the areas where the case meets the screen, but this is still not a huge hassel to wipe away with a t-shirt or microfiber cloth. The inside screen area has the same deep ledge which sometimes limits swipes from the bottom, but it happens mostly when I'm not paying attention to the phone. While the case is obviously a bit chunky, I believe it is still the best case on the market for this phone right now.

I'm a mechanical engineer, so these kinds of things are really important to me. When I saw this case on Amazon and read the reviews, I'm not sure I believed them. But I ordered one to put on my new Fold 2 when it arrived. 1 WEEK LATER... ALL of the good reviews I read ARE TRUE. This is an incredibly simple case design for a phone that opens and closes with a complex hinge. The fact that the hinge is ALSO covered gives me peace of mind for that INEVITABLE day that I drop my phone... we all know that day. I have to say these two pieces of technology, Spigen case and Fold 2 in combination, is the most powerful and durable hand held setup I have ever owned. If you are the person that likes small, sleek, thin phones, then this is not the combo-setup for you. But if you like the ability to have a phone that opens up to a mini tablet for the 80% of the things we like to do with our phones... THIS IS THE SETUP FOR YOU. Get this case... don't think about the money. You will remember the quality of this case long after you have forgotten the price. This was a REALLY good purchase to protect a REALLY expensive phone.- UPDATE (DAY 16 - WITH FOLD2 AND CASE): It finally happened. I knocked my phone off of my bed side table while getting ready this morning. It fell 3' to the TILE floor. NO DAMAGE!!! To case or phone. YAY!! :) This case was worth every penny. It fell right on the upper right corner of the phone, on the edge (hinge). EVERYTHING IS GREAT!!- UPDATE (DAY 26 - WITH SOAKING FOLD2 AND CASE): This case will not protect against DROPPING PHONE in POOL! :( I'm soooo sad. Crying now. :(((((- UPDATE (DAY 28 - WITH NEW FOLD2 WITH CASE): HAPPY AGAIN!! :) Got phone replaced for free and case is on again. I have instructed my dog to bite me if I get near pool with phone. He bit me twice today.

This is my 4th case for this phone as well and so far this is the BEST case for this phone. I have been looking for a case that can provide hinge protection as well in case the phone is dropped and this case places my mind at ease. Other cases have a soft hinge cover but doesn't do anything for protecting the hinge in case you drop this phone. This phone has a hard rubber-like hinge cover. I just received this case today and it just fits so perfectly in position. I bought the ringke case before this one thinking it would be fine. But after having it a few days, I was starting to worry because the hinge being all out in the open and certainly didn't want to drop it without the protection it really needed. So I decided on getting this $89 case. I can't believe that I have spent this much for a phone case. But once I put it on, now I see why the price is high. Gorgeously designed for the perfect fit and it feels real good in the hand. It is a tad thick, not too much, but that's ok. I will take a little bit of thickness to protect such an awesome piece of work made by Samsung. Everything doesn't have to be paper then to enjoy. Thin devices are cute, but they also can feel cheap too. Oh yea, and that ringke case allowed the fold 2 to slide inside of the case sometimes when picked up. I didn't like that feeling. Because of this, it felt loose and not snug, like I feel with this spigen armor case. This case is very solid. Once it's on your fold, you immediately forget about how much you paid for it. I got this case around the time I got my fold 2, since then I've dropped it down two flights of stairs (onto carpet but still). I've dropped it on the concrete floor, and kitchen tiles. It's been a great protector, as my phone doesn't have a scratch or ding. The case is light weight, it's smooth to transition from closed to open. It can be a tad bulky when closed, but feels the perfect size when opened. The protector piece for the spine is perfect, and has the added feature of adding a speed bump type protrusion on the back which makes for a nice bit to keep your grip. All the buttons are accessible, the sound is great, has good acessibility to charging ports.Although a bit expensive, this is a wonderful case. It does an amazing job of protecting your phone.

Lo ammetto è ottima, ne ho avute altre. Materiali top, estetica e protezione. Prezzo da follia....me la sono concessa ma ancora ci penso e mi condanno...ma tant'è chi può permetterselo sul mercato non c'è di meglio.

Certains commentaires disaient que la coque était difficile à installer. Je me suis quand même lancée. Effectivement, enlever les languettes de protection des autocollants double face est un peu difficile. Je vous conseille de le faire le plus à plat possible pour que l'autocollant ne se décolle pas de la coque. Quand cela est fait, le téléphone s'enclenche bien dans la coque et ne bouge pas du tout. Aucune partie du petit écran n'est masquée, même sur les bords : les touches A et 1 sont donc parfaitement utilisables. La coque parait solide, à voir dans le temps. Je trouve quand même le prix de cet article très élevé.
