This was THE best advent calendar for my 2.5 yr old son!! He is obsessed with it & loves waking up to open a new one each day! The cars are all so unique & nice quality- not cheap plastic!

Or grandson loved this calendar. The cars are very good quality. We had alot of fun with this!

This was a big hit with my 3yr old who loves any and all vehicles. Last year we did trains which got kind of old - this product has really nice variety and actually have functional parts (forklift goes up down, firetruck ladder moves, etc) . The only downside is that they are made out of lightweight plastic so they don't move down tracks very fast and some parts break easily. I would still recommend.

This was a wonderful advent calendar. I got it from my grandson and he absolutely loved getting a new hot wheels car every day up until Christmas. I will say that these are not the usual cars that are made of metal and are a plastic material but they look great and work just as well. He was very happy.

UPDATE: Upon opening more cars, I figured out that they are partially diecast. Just the main body of most of the cars is mostly metal. So, I’d say they are kind of diecast hybrids. The heavy equipment vehicles are quite “delicate” as everything that’s not the cab, is plastic. I will change my rating up a notch, as some of the cars are sturdy, and they are worth the purchase price. Just be aware some of them aren’t going to last too long.Original review: The description says die cast, so I expected metal vehicles. Upon opening the first one, we discovered it is all plastic! Die cast means metal! I was disappointed, to say the least. I specifically purchased these because they were die cast. He’ll still enjoy them, but be forewarned — If the price seems to be too good to be true, it probably is.

Great moving vehicles advent calendar. Each day brings a new vehicle. It helps to see all the engineering parts, size and the way the wheels move while carrying the good heavy weight of each vehicle. The first ones are more industrial which is great to teach kids about the building & maintenance of their communities. The later days are small, fast & super cool looking, like our fathers are saying after you know the build, stability & safety, you can have fun in one of these lighter, smaller, faster and more fun vehicles, but stability & safety first. It’s a great day by day reminder of the luxury it is to operate large transportation devices & for kids to build an awareness of space, materials & 3-D spatial understanding of how all types of vehicles move & their uses.

We got this for our one year old son and the vehicles are the perfect size for him. He cant open the little rectangles and I need to push one corner in for my 4 year old daughter to rip the rest of it out but that's nothing major! It's actually perfect because it is really hard for them to accidentally open another square, which I have has happen on other advent calendars. We are only on day 4 so we will ese how the little vehicles hold up.

I think my grandson will love this with all the cars in it.And the trucks.
