Amazon Brand - Stone & Beam Classic Wishbone Dining Chair, 22.4"W, White / Natural

We ordered three of these counter height stools based on reviews, but couldn't have been more disappointed. Although they look great, the overall quality just isn't there. First, one of the stools arrived broken on a section of the frame that couldn't have been damaged due to shipping. The frame was broken all the way through. On all of the frames, the finish is uneven, with some area looking raw and unfinished. We have a lot of experience with woven cord seats, and we're not convinced that the material they use will withstand daily use for very long. And having a seat rewoven is expensive. One other note - not a negative but something that customers need to know: the seats are extra deep and to sit with the support of the back against you, you're going to be a long way from the counter. We're returning all three and won't buy from the Stone and Beam brand again.

I LOVE these chairs. This style was all over the internet and Amazon has the best price, like at least $100 cheaper than wayfair and others. Although my initial order I had to get a replacement because it arrived broken and then the replacement was also broken (so two chairs total that I had to get replaced). But customer service was amazing and I had no trouble at all getting it replaced and picked up. Also my chairs came fully assembled which was amazing!!! And they are super light to pick up so was totally easy getting them out of their giant boxes lol.

Beautiful stools but one star rating for poor Amazon customer service. Purchased the stools and within 2 days of delivery the price decreased by 25%. Tried to discuss on multiple occasions and was told by customer service that they don’t recognize changes. I comprehend and understand that Amazon provides dynamic pricing but some flexibility should be granted based upon timing of delivery and window of price change. Was instead told that I could return and repurchase the items, which I would’ve been willing to do but additionally increases Amazon’s costs. Will instead return and purchase something similar elsewhere and left the review so other shoppers would know that they should thoroughly consider alternatives when making significant purchases from Amazon.

I ordered four of these stools which were shipped as available so not arriving in one shipment. 1st one received was damaged and returned. Two more received which had to be returned due to height of seat. Tried to cancel 4th shipment without success. Although beautiful in appearance, one leg seemed slightly shorter and they do not sit level on my new hardwood floors. Most importantly the seat is 28" high not 24" as initial description described. Sadly I am returning as they leave only a 1.5 " space for leg room. If you are looking for barstools, these are perfect. Description initially stated:This Mid-Century modern counter-height barstool is simple and traditional, and versatile enough for your dining, kitchen, living room, or bar areas.22.4"W x 22.8"D x 35.5"H; seat height: 24.65"

I love these chairs and they arrived Fully assembled which was appreciated. I will update my review with images soon. These chairs are comfortable and sturdy. There is one quirk to note: your legs can get “stuck” under the arms, which was pointed out to me when one taller guest nearly tumbled over when getting up from the chair. I am on the shorter side and have experienced this to a lesser degree but it’s worth mentioning for those who have such aversions. I don’t find it problematic and would buy these over and over again, I love the design and love the look. They are very versatile and fit into many different decors.

Sturdy chairs, the black paint is well done and they came without a single chip. I can see under the seat the end of the rope and it looks like it may get off someday so I'll just keep an eye to that. Everything else is pretty good. They came in a big box, sometimes assembly makes things weak so I love that this came assembled and ready to use.

These stools sang above my expectations. First off, ordering furniture anywhere is a nightmare right now because of all the delays but these came in 2 days fully assembled and look incredible. They are roomy and comfortable! I got the solid black ones at counter height which are more expensive; however, the solid black takes the chair style from farmhouse to dramatic/chic. This has been the best furniture purchase I have made in a long time!

PERFECT. searched all over the internet, at every price point, abs finally settled on trying these out. With easy returns on amazon it was a risk free purchase - and one I don’t regret. The are large, sturdy and very well made. The wood is even prettier in person and the woven rattan seat is high quality!

I must have looked at a hundred counter stool options in stores and online. I first saw this Hans Wegner wishbone stool on another website for more than double the price. I was excited to find them for such a reasonable price on Amazon, but be aware the quality is probably not as high. Of the four stools we ordered, one came with a cleanly broken arm (see photo). I put in an online request for an exchange, and the new chair arrived in just a few days. (Still have to mail back the original.). The replacement, however has a loose joint where the arm fits into the back rail. I think I can fix this with glue, so I won’t go to the trouble of returning it. So far, I’m satisfied with the quality given the price.

Les bancs sont loins d’être parfait pour le prix payé. Le banc photo #1 est parfait, les autres la partie supérieure du dossier n’est pas droite. Un dévit vers la gauche et l’autre vers la droite et plusieurs petits accros sur le bois.

I love these counterstools - they are comfortable and they look amazing. I bought 4 for our kitchen counter and we are using them all the time. They are sturdy and well made. They are a really comfortable size for kids and adults of all sizes.
