The fabric is beautiful. I definitely would buy it again. Wish they had a larger selection of colors.

Cloth color and texture is as expected!!!

The fabric color matched to the advertisement perfectly. The thickness was about what I expected, a little thinner than the faux dupioni fabric I've seen in home decor sections of local fabric stores. The only problem I have with this particular product was the smell. I couldn't even set it aside to air out as soon as I opened up the plastic bag and the smell hit me I instantly went into the bathroom, threw it into a bucket of water and washed it to get the smell out which thankfully after a quick hand wash with a small amount of scented laundry detergent I then hung it to let it line dry and the smell is now more like opening a brand new box of crayons instead of the initial cheap petroleum based plastics scent, I'm sure you know the smell im talking about, cheap items with any kind of fabric or woven webbing straps that come from the factory in China, that's the smell it had.I haven't had a chance to sew with it yet too many other projects piling up but I will update once I've made something. I'll probably make a quick doll outfit to get a good idea of how it handles.

This is a good, inexpensive fabric with a bright color and it's thin without being sheer.

It doesnthave the subtle shifts in color as shown in photo, which is what attracted me. Also very stiff hand, so limited in its application. However, still a very interesting and pretty fabric, so I’ll prob use it for embroidery.

I've purchased a lot of Silk Shantung from Joann's Fabric. Unfortunately, Joann no longer sells this fabric so I had to search elsewhere. Joann's fabric was by far the best quality and this Shantung was the worst I've ever purchased. It was just ok for my project, but if you are going to make clothing, I would definitely search elsewhere. This fabric is extremely thin and has a hint of what good Shantung should look like. Won't buy again.

Magenta color is not as deep or vivid as shown in the picture. Bit disappointed.
