Q: what all do i need to start reloading 9mm?? do i need to buy 9mm bullet feeders and dies?

You will need a 9mm shellholding plate, 9mm size/depriming die, a 9mm case flaring die, a 9mm seating die and a 9mm crimping die. I got the hornady seat/crimp in one die, to add a bullet feeder eventually. The powder drop is pre setup for any bullet to automatically fill :) any more questions, just ask!

Q: Does this kit include the powder through expander set? Or just the powder through die?

No the expanders are sold separately, but they aren't very expensive. The powder throughs do save a station so you can use a powder check and a separate crimp die.

Q: Is this a stand alone unit or is my husband going to have to mount it to the kitchen table?

Not a stand alone. There is a base that runs 75.00 that “should” be used But not mandatory. It still has to be fastened down to a rigid horizontal surface. But hey, there is an advantage to the kitchen table... he won’t be late for dinner when you call him!! 😂

Q: can Lee dies be used with the Hornady AP?

Yes any standard 7/8"-14 threaded dies (Lee, Hornady, RCBS, Redding, etc) can be used. You just screw them into the bushings that are provided. The bushings allow for quick changing of dies. A great system.
