I had a really stubborn K&N filter which would not budge from my CBR 600I didn’t want to remove the fairing just to do an oil changeThe hex nut on the filter collapsed and even a screwdriver though the filter wouldn’t move it so I thought I’d give this a go as space was a bit tightWHAT A GREAT PIECE OF KITWould recommend

Whilst this item worked for its intended purpose, it appears to be pretty poorly made. It's a little rough around the edges but served it's purpose. I wouldn't buy again based on this.

Freed a stuck filter on first try. Far better tool than traditional designs. Highly recommend.

Not the best, but ok considering the price and universal size. Slips at times, but got the job done.

Having struggled with the mother of all overly tightened oil filter cans (the correct sized cap wrench stripped the flutes on the can & no type of rubber or chain strap wrench could get it to budge) this finally did the trick.The construction initially seems like it might have too much play in it, but in operation it worked brilliantly. The 'teeth' as it were, bite really well, in fact possibly too well; I would advise putting a bit of rubber under them as they could cave-in/rip through even a decent metal casing.But boy do they grip & using the preinstalled 1/2" drive connector for 'max' power I finally got the so-and-so off!!Superb power at a good price too, many thanks.ADD.: For all those 1 star reviews simply saying it slips around too much, you do need to keep tightening through that 'phase' as the device finds its biting point, so to speak; & as mentioned above, pop some rubber mat or non-slip draw liner off-cut over the filter as well to help stabilise it.

Grips filter well and so far every one I've used it on has come off easily. Good value

What a piece of junk! Does not grab filters and slips around when tring to use. Had to grove out filter housing for it to grab. Do not recommend!

Cheap and not particularly great build quality however I bought it to change the filter on my Peugeot 208 once a year. The filter is removed from underneath the car and this made it easy. Removed and tightened up new one quickly. So if it's for occasional use then it's perfect no point in spending more.

Im Prinzip macht das Werkzeug was es soll. Für meinen Wagen waren die Arme viel zu rutschig. Habe Moosgummi draufgeklebt, war etwas besser, aber nicht gut. Achtung Durchmesser beachten. Ist der Ölfilter nicht mindestens 10 cm groß, eine nummer kleiner wählen.
