I'm sure that anyone looking at these has already noted that similar items are for sale in just about every toolshop and website on Earth. You'll also see them used extensively on Youtube primarily on woodworking videos.And with good reason. They are genuinely useful if you are putting together something that needs to be accurately set at 90 degs.Naturally, these are made from Chinesium as are all of the others no matter what name is printed on the tool. And to be honest I'm cool with that because they are well made and the anodising gives a premium feel to the squares.In use you can use them with clamps, fixtures and of course can be made into various jigs as required. Frankly, these are now a workshop essential for those of us who love to make things from wood or man made board.I also do a bit of steel work as well - being a marine engineer - but I wouldn't use these for that job. Welding and grinding would soon make them look a bit sad and probably damage them out of true as well.Overall for the price a superb help in my home workshop.

Not much to add to the other good reviews.My one gripe is that I use these for welding, and it would be nice to have a cut-out on the outside corner as well as the inside corner: so that inside 90º angles can be checked where there is a weld seam in place.

I ordered these without reading reviews. when I later read them I was concerned that some people had complaints of out of square problems. I was pleasantly surprised when I got them and found they were both spot on for squareness and straightness. will order another couple soon.

I took a chance ordering these because of the reviews - either 5-star (completely accurate squares) or 1-star (not 90 degrees). They arrived today and I found mine are completely square on both the inside and outside angles. So they are getting 5-stars as I will be using them as positioning squares with clamps. The scales in both mm and inches along one of the sides are also accurate but they start about 0.5mm above the base so there is a margin of error if you need this feature. I will definately be buying more of these when I need them.

One of the thumbscrew nuts is badly threaded. It took me a couple of minutes to work out what was wrong as it sticks on the thread when under the slightest pressure. It also wobbles on the thread.Shame, as the other 7 are fine and the angle parts look good.The plastic nuts are very cheaply made by the looks of them.I returning the item immediately

A good purchase for setting up timber to be at a right angle and square. Bright red, well made and accurate and at a good price.
