I have an eye mask by a different brand and bought this one as a second mask so I can alternate wearing one and washing the other. I have mixed feelings. It is lightweight and blocks out the sun well, I'm sensitive to light and this blocks all of it, there's not even a tiny bit getting in. It also has a bigger gap for the nose, and since my nose is on the bigger side and I have sinus issues this is great (my other mask squashes my nose slightly).However, I bought the one that says it has more eye space because I have fairly big eyes and they're sensitive, I can't wear most eye masks at all because of this, and because this mask seems to prioritise being thin there still isn't quite enough room and it touches my lashes (they're on the longer side) which can cause irritation but I'm hoping it won't since it is only just touching. The cup sits right around my eyes when I'd prefer more room than that also. I've known people with bigger eyes and longer lashes than me so this is a bit strange, but just a minor thing that could be improved.My other smaller issues are that the strap could do with being slightly wider because it doesn't have enough width to stay in place well which disrupted my sleep a couple of times, my other mask has a wider strap by just a few mm and it stays in place better, and that the material isn't very smooth and silky meaning it holds some warmth against the skin, which will be fine for most people but I run hot at all times, especially when I sleep and we're currently experiencing a heatwave and feeling my own warmth isn't great for my sensory issues.Ultimately it does the job I got it for (blocking light and giving me a second mask to alternate while washing) and costs a price that I could afford. I'm very grateful for the extra nose space, but wish I could say the same for my eyelashes. It is a bit hot to wear but still fairly comfortable and definitely better than nothing since I'm sensitive to light. I can see this being useful for migraines too. I'd say that for the price it's worth a go.

I have nothing to compare this to, apart from the largely useless airline freebies. It does blackout completely if you are lying on your back, although if you lie on your side it can bleed a very small amount of light by the nose when the mask rubs up against your pillow. Comfort is good, particularly regarding the gap to eyelashes and around the nose. I got it to deal with summer mornings with the window open and blowing the blind enough to trigger waking up earlier than I would like, and it seems perfect for this.

Changed my life, I can sleep in the day now. Would get 5 stars but does leak a small amount of light

Blackout yes, 100%Comfort yes, 100%What I wasn't expecting was just how good my eyes felt and looked in the morning! I don't sleep well at all, it doesn't affect me during the day to be fair, but...wow did I feel the difference in the morning after my first night using this, my eyes felt so rested, and looked way less dark and 'baggy' I don't know if this was because I didn't have my face buried under a pile of pillows which sometimes I will have to do to sleep due to even a chink of light, even last night my dog was unwell and woke me up 5 times between 12 and 4 to be let out, I genuinely feel like I have slept for a full night, falling asleep is really easy and quick too, I just keep my eyes open, which is so comfortable with the eye 'pockets' my eyes are like "well..nothing to see here? and I'm out for the count. Oh and the headaches, I can't remember the last morning I woke with a headache and first thing reached for the paracetamol I have had this for just 2 nights, and I can't tell you how incredibly it has worked for me.Can not recommend this mask highly enough.

I would say for my face 99% blackout.

On rare occasions I feel like a nap in the afternoon and these are great, not so good for overnight rest especially when it's hot, but good for a few crafty zzz's.

Great product, I use it every night as my room has a lot of light in. In warm weather can get a bit hot but still sleep able.
