Take the cover off. It changes the game
This is a great sounding pickup, but I was personally looking for something meaner at a good price. The Tex Mex was hotter than the tele neck I previous had in it, but I removed the cover and this thing brightened up and sounds perfect. Try it out!

I'm not 100% sure they actually sent me a tex mex pickup
Because when I Google the part number on the back it actually came up as an American standard neck pickup. However if that's actually the case I'd prefer that then the Tex-Mex. It sounds great

Real tex-mex tele neck pickup
Item description is confusing, but rest assured this is a Fender MIM Tex-Mex Tele pickup. Build quality made me question its authenticity, but performance and sound quality was on point. Identical to the pickup in my FSR Baja tele. A slightly overwound, pleasantly thicker tone. Paired with CTS 250k pots and a .047uf orange drop capacitor brings out the best sonic character, and makes for great possibilities. (purchased through a. musicworks)

Does not fit
Cheap crap, doesn't fit strat plate, screw holes too narrow....comes in a bag ..that's it...no fender labels, no instructions, nothing but a plastic bag and it says for fender strat but the screws holes don't work with strat plate...you get what you pay for, buyer beware

Might not be fender
Not sure if fender, no badge, and packaging was just cellophane, again nothing fender. But sound is solid.

Does not “include mounting hardware”
Pickup sounds good but it’s highly suspicious whether it’s fender or not. Like others mentioned, it just comes in a bag with no screws and mounting tubes.

No mounting hardware
I bought this to install in a squier 40th anniversary telecaster and since they dont include 2 little screws i have to go find some that fit because it doesnt use the same size and the squier pickup. These companies need to get it together already.

Complain complain
Honestly just wanted to say to everyone griping about not getting screws is because these pickups probably came out of a multi-pack that had like a gross for people who build guitars for a living, you are saving $20 this way
