This book helped me to see that creating is more work than inspiration. It takes lots of ideas to get inspiration.

I had no clue that there were so many ways to generate ideas! I do now and so will you when you read this book. Well worth it.

A very straightforward book with techniques and tools that will help someone be more creative in solving problems and being artistic in general. This book helped me realize that one does not have to be born creative to think out of the box. You can actually learn how to do it by applying the information in this book. Definitely an eye opening book. Thank you to the author!!!!

Found this book full of good information and actionable tips. I’ve started implementing the 100 list and playing shiritori for rapid idea generation. The author writes in a clear, get to the point style. Little fluff and enough examples.

I was aware of some innovative methods which I already applied but the book really expands for all the alternatives you may want to apply to really bring all those possible ideas. Suggested 100

May be ok for an absolute beginner to the subject but nothing new here.I hoped I could find some nuggets of wisdom in this book but unfortunately it was a boring and shallow compilation . There are much better , complete and engaging books out there from Michael Michalko's Thinkertoys and Cracking Creativity for example.I gave 2 stars for the section that explains that how creativity comes with work and effort but not waiting. Idea Box concept is explained so poorly.

The book takes us through case studies of prolific inventors, their practices and summarise them for our benefit some being note taking and correlating , creating habits which allow the prize, make best use of their time and able to synthesise ideas across fields.
