I love this movie, so glad I got to watch it again.

Wonderful movie

I hadn't seen this movie in years, and recently remembered loving it when it first came out.I was not disappointed, watching it a couple decades later! Fast shipping, too!

I've loved every version of this movie, including this one. Great for all members of your family!

I as an adult even liked it.

It’s a pretty faithful adaptation though it’s an interesting choice that at the beginning it’s an earthquake not a cholera out break that sets things in motion and it’s a minor detail but Mrs Medlock is late picking her up from the harbor. In the book she’s on time it’s just an odd choice. There’s always differences for time or budget but these seemed odd.

I was introduced to the wonderful "Secret Garden" late in life and once I finished the book went hunting for movie treatments. There are quite a few and this 1993 production is one of the best. Highly recommend!!

Love the beauty of garden they did a good job

Yes this movie varies from the original novel. I bought it for viewing at our book club meeting the month we read the original novel. And yes, the things that varied (the mother being twins, the lack of a disease massacre and instead either an earthquake or an invasion (they're not quite clear on that)) were very different. But the feelings of the story were still present. The three children were excellent in their roles, and Maggie Smith was wonderful. I will definitely be re-watching this film time and time again in the future. It's fantastic.

I love this movie. I tried finding it on a streaming site but NONE of them have it. For the price, why not own it? I've seen it so many times I may as well have it to watch in the future.

Loved watching this. Bought it for my daughter, as I can't believe that I didn't read it to her as a child! (She missed a magical treat!) Personally, I prefer the original version, so now am on the lookout for that.

Un magnifique film qui a marqué mon enfance. Un classique de la littérature devenu un classique cinématographique. Dommage que l'industrie cinématographique ne produise pas davantage de ce type de film.
