3 Interchangeable Baking Plates for Making Doughnut or Waffle Maker-Eggette and Much More

Excellent product. Have already made sugar free donuts with it. Used to make grilled cheese sandwiches and waffles. Everything works and is so easy to clean up. Happy with my purchase.

Pros:-So far I’ve only used this device to make waffles, and it does a very good job at it. Cute color too, it helps to brighten the start of my day!-Decently long power cord (but it doesn’t have a 3 prong grounded plug.)-The plates have what looks like a non-stick coating of some kind but the instructions say to brush oil on the plates which I’ve never had to do with non-stick plates before, but I did as the instructions advised, and the waffles came out effortlessly. I’ve used this device several times now to make waffles, and the non-stick coating is still present.-It heats up quickly and has you eating waffles in a short time, and the waffles are a decent sized NON-Belgium type waffle (which I like more-for a “breakfast type” waffle. To me a Belgium type waffle is more a dessert type waffle-meaning they have deeper pockets for holding say strawberries, cream and such.)-It appears to have a plunger type buttons as a safety feature to let the device know that the cooking plates are installed. (2 plungers, 1 per plate.) if the plates aren’t installed correctly, the plunger won’t depress and won’t complete the circuit (no heat) To be honest, I haven’t tested if they work or not, but it is a good design. I’ve seen this type of safety feature on crockpots, electric pressure canners, and such, and they do a good job.-The heating elements and the way they are mounted appear to be good design and quality.Cons:-While it has a power light, and a ready light, you have to use what I like to call the “lift and look” procedure to see if it’s ready to remove the waffle.-The combination safety/instruction/recipe booklet is for the most part understandable. It has the usual English language interpretation we’ve come to expect from a Chinese company, but it is written better than most, however some of the recipes are not complete, so eh, I just use my own recipes.-I wish they used a better latching system for holding the hot plates onto the device (they use a single plastic latch per plate), but they do hold them in place. A two latch system per plate for safety and durability would be better though. Only time will tell if they will hold up to the heat, but so far so good but if they break the plates won’t be held in place and won’t work. (Which is good on a safety perspective, but bad because it will be “dead in the water.”-Also the latch (clamp?) that holds the device closed for storage and more importantly for cooking, is made of plastic, and only time will tell if it will hold up. This is another key component because the device needs to be clamped shut in order to properly cook. (Not that it’ll stop it from working, but with waffles the cooking plates need to be held tightly in place.)Anyway, hopefully the “con” items will hold up for a long while and make it worth the money spent.So far it’s doing a decent job.Would I recommend? I’m still on the fence about that. I wouldn’t like to say “yes” and then it craps out on me a few months down the line.That being said, Would I buy it again? Yeah, I might, but I would do more research first to see what the other manufacturers have out there first.I hope this helps!

Once you get use the the preset heat it is easy to use. It is as easy and hard to clean as any other. If you clean it immediately it is not an issue. I have little soft bristle brushes that are used for baby bottles and they work perfectly for those hard to reach spots if you accidentally over flow.

Makes two 4x4.5 inch waffles or one eggette waffle in 14min. One temperature, no on/off switch. Becomes nice little carry/store case when closed. Comes with 3 plate sets: waffles, lg eggette waffle & mini donuts. Plates are changable, wipe clean do not emerse. Mini donut plate fell out of top, switched & other one did too. Donut plates not quite wide enough for clamp. Condition between waffles to prevent sticking. Well made except for donut plates which is what I bought it for. As a small waffle maker it deserves consideration.

Heats up fast and makes a nice size waffle ..it is easy to change the plates and easy to clean. I would have liked more recipes and they call for grams not cups

And it smelled like burning plastic, I was a little concern but my man insisted that I proceed. So I put in my waffle mix the light does it's thing and the waffle was not cooked properly you know a little soft very light, anyway I was like let it stay in there and cook for another 5 mins and still nothing. So I figured the heating elements are off. Returning. Hope they don't resell this.

Overall not mad but buy it when it’s on sale.Used all the plates several times so far and been relatively happy. Heats quickly and evenly, things come out of the plate easily. The only complaint I have so far is the tiny weak brackets that hold the plates into place. I had to adjust the top plate brackets since it kept popping out

Easy waffles, makes two at a time in about 3 minutes depending on consistency of the batter mixture. The little donut maker is cute too. Great for baking fun creations with the little ones. Use nonstick cooking spray and it cleans easily. The iron plates are of a good quality and they are easy to store because of their size. Overall, I am pleased and convinced it was a good buy!
