Generational Wealth: Business & Investing Guide to Building an Empire Paperback – January 20, 2011

Pretty simple but a great starting place for people who are just getting in to personal finance and investing.

Book is great! I’m learning a lot in simple steps which is awesome. Things I never knew how to do this book will teach you and with examples.

A very thorough overview of wealth-related topics. From this introduction to these various topics a person could choose to learn more in depth from other sources.

The media could not be loaded.  I read this book and while it is decently written for a personal finance book or introduction to managing your wealth I thought by the title it would be dealing with generational wealth as in ultra-wealthy families, inheritance, single family offices, and trust and estates. I bought it under the wrong premise so if someone else is looking for core personal finance and investing insights this book is good in that regard and I give it 4/5 stars, it just isn't the family office book I thought it was when I purchased it.

This book is a wealth of information. Great for beginners like myself.

I appreciated this read! Very clear cut. Easy to read and most importantly, easily comprehensible. I reference back to it often. If I were already financially where I want to be, I would purchase one each for my entire family.

Clear description of how federal reserve works ,create wealth with commercial real estate investing and long term equity investment at a discount during recession and growing business.

Great read

Whilst pitched as a 'must read' guide to creating generational wealth, this book is really an 'idiots guide to finance', filled mostly with basic terms and explanations, rather than ideas on structuring and accumulating wealth. Considering the blindingly good product description from Amazon, I had high hopes for this book, but upon reaching the final page, I was left with the distinct impression that I'd essentially bought a A-Level standard text book - very little unique and original content, and most of the information would be known by anyone with more than a passing knowledge of finance and investments.Having said that however, I WOULD recommend this book to someone who was looking for such a text - it definitely covers the basics in an easy to understand manner, and may be useful as a 'beginners guide to finance and investing'. If you're after something more in-depth however - keep looking!
