This fan was absolutely perfect in every way. Strong and sturdy with nice heavy base and various height adjustments. Assembled it easily and without tools to the highest setting in little over 1 minute. To top it off the remote control was an added bonus and works faultlessly from quite a distance. Along with the great digital display and touch screen on the fan itself. The fan is very quiet in operation, unlike other more expensive ones I’ve bought over the years. Definitely value for money and wouldn’t hesitate to buy another. TO ADD. Carers in my fathers care home lost the remote control and I contacted Futura through Amazon to see if I could buy a replacement. They’ve only insisted on sending me one immediately FREE OF CHARGE. Now you can’t fault that. Absolutely amazing service from that 1st class seller. Thank you Futura.

Bought this fan for my son’s bedroom and I’m very pleased with the product. It was very easy to assemble - and I’m no flat pack queen! There was one mystifying bit of plastic that was firmly attached to the back cover which wasn’t mentioned in the instructions, which you need to remove so that you can attach it to the motor. After a bit of fiddling I managed to prize it off. Otherwise, it was really easy to put together. Nice solid base and it’s really quiet. Perfect for the bedroom. The remote control is a handy feature which turns it on and off and controls the fan speed, oscillation and timer. All in all it’s a nice fan for the price. I’m ordering a second one for my daughter. And, it came a day early!!

Bought this to use with an exercise bike so wanted to be able to control remotely. Very easy to set up with a sturdy base and adjustable upright stand. Fan blade needs to be screwed onto the motor which is easy once you realise the clear plastic washers are only there as packing pieces for transit and can be discarded in use. Remote allows you to turn the fan on and off as well as selecting the speed. Remote works well although if there is something partially blocking the line of sight it doesn’t always connect .Fan provides good airflow and is quiet in operation although I have mainly used it while cycling and listening to music so not sure if it would seem noisier in a very quiet room e.g. at night.All in all very happy with the fan and would recommend

This fan was delivered very quickly and it arrived well packaged. After quickly & easily assembling it, i was stunned at the effectiveness and quality of the product.I also have another larger remote controlled standing fan that cost more than twice this one but this fan produced a much better air flow. It is just as powerful but quieter, looks more elegant and is the perfect size.I would definitely recommend this fan if you are after a decent standing fan that isn't like the many cheap quality white ones you can get but is still relatively cheap with quality and performance being substantially better. As a bonus you even have a remote control!!!

At last ! A fan fit for purpose . This is BY FAR the best fan that I have had in my 75 years ! It’s sturdy. Well built and solid . Most importantly it really succeeds in sending cool air your way . It is fit for its purpose ! 3 speeds . The slowest speed is good enough . The other two speeds are simply amazing . I’ve saved the best until the last . Remotely controlled . What a boon. No more getting up and down to switch on or off or change from stationary to moving . Change the speed ? Easy . Everything that this great fan can do is controlled by a button ! This buyer is a happy bunny !

Had ordered it when the heat wave hit but it was a bit too late on my part. However, once it arrived it has been a very good product from assembling to usage so far. I do not mind the little bit noise that it has when it's operational but that's my opinion since I sleep well even with a certain level of sound. The main USP is the remote control. It is really good and I don't have to get up at night at all. Just need to set the timer for an hour or two as per my requirement and it does the rest. The speed is decent for me as well. I have only used the 1st level of speed so far as it suffices my need and I can only assume that the 3rd level which is the maximum is good enough for me for a hot weather as I haven't had any opportunity to use it as it's not as hot as it was in the beginning. Would recommend for sure.

Recently purchased this fan for home use - I sleep with a fan 365 days a year.. and with the current UK weather ("muggy"), a good fan is a godsend.The fan was on a lightning deal - but I would have no quarms or be disappointed with paying the full price. The fan is powerful for its price bracket.. its highest setting will cool you down 10-15ft away and stirs a good breeze..Its interface is a sleek touch panel which really gives it a modern feel.Longevity? No clue - but will update in due course as the fan will get a minimum of 8 hours use everyday 365 days a year..Would I buy it again? Without hesitation! My only gripe is that the remote that comes with it is pretty useless unless your right in front of the fan. So no good for controlling across a room. No deal breaker for me though- but if your purchasing this solely for the remote- look elsewhere.

At £50 it’s quite good value for money. Looks and feels robust and it certainly shifts some air. The remote is very small but works well from across the room. Only gave it 3 stars though because it’s so damn noisy. Even on its lowest setting there is an audible hum from the motor and a slight vibration. On the highest setting it sounds like a plane taking off. Its fine if you’re going to use it during the day in an area with plenty of other background noise (living room or kitchen perhaps) but I wouldn’t recommend it for a bedroom at night.
