Update Review - Looks Great on 2019 Pathfinder - Thule Pulse M Cargo Box
Dec 6th, 2020 - (Needed a larger capacity box)I purchased:- Thule Pulse 614 Medium Cargo Box (Just bought a Thule Pulse 615 Large Cargo Box now - See below)- Installed on 2019 Nissan Pathfinder SL 4WD- OEM Roof Rails- Malone Aero Roof Rack Cross Bars w/ Locks- Thule 44" Air Screen (For Wind Noise - Does the job well & completes the look!)*Update* After a 10 hour road Trip from SoCal to Salt Lake City, UT I have returned the Medium cargo box and purchased a Large! With a family of 5... the medium box barely held 4 standard duffle bags and other misc. items. We made it there and back though! However, with that trip, I wish I had the Large cargo box. I just tested it with the 4 standard duffle and I can see that I am able to fit another standard duffle and misc. items. The box is well made, durable, and held up well during our trip. One thing I would like to mention, (don't make the same mistake as I did) I washed the car with the box, the night before and leave in freezing temps (LOL - Common sense, I didn't have it at the time); the tumbler and mechanisms of the lock froze shut. We had to wait until temps was above freezing to be able to open the box and store our items.All-in-all wind noise was minimal. It may have helped a lot that I have a Thule air screen as well. The clamps are well made and every time I stopped/rested on our trip, I checked the box every single time. And it did not budge one bit with the load inside. Very sturdy. Great form-factor and looks great on our vehicle too! The one sided opening didn't bother me at all, it only made it consistent and a habit to go to the passenger side to open the box. It's a must to get a step, really makes it easier to access the box up top. So, if you are looking to get one and need interior space, it is definitely worth the money. You may only take one trip a year, but it's one of those items that you'll need and becomes a necessity when the time comes to use it.**********************************************************************************************************************************Nov 5th, 2020 (Used Box for Thanksgiving road trip to Utah)I bought the Thule Pulse M Cargo Box for my 2019 Nissan Pathfinder. Amazon schedule delivery was spot on with the time of delivery. It came in a pretty big box. Luckily it's pretty light for the size and material it is made from. I installed the box with a Malone Aero Crossbar and Thule air screen fairing (44" w/ part #8702).The good... Its a good size cargo box. I tested fitted 4 travel duffle bags (30" L) and fit well and closes well.Pretty well made. Construction of the clamps and slots work well. It slides nicely in the slots of the cargo box.The rack was about 30.5" apart on the roof and it looks pretty good on the Pathfinder. I drove about 15 miles on the freeway and there was no wind noise heard and didn't make the vehicle feel any different. The bad... other than only one side opening (passenger side) so far, nothing at the moment really. It does what it needs it to do and that is create additional storage. I will be driving to Utah from California to see if it can handle the weather. The way the box is constructed, I would say it will do just fine. Fingers Crossed.

Ran it on a trial run before vacation... Even empty this thing was practically silent up there

Its a good unit, a little on the expensive side. Not sure its worth $599 but it did well.
I purchased this "used like new" for $474. I had previously missed out on the deal for $398 and I am still angry at myself for not purchasing the cart. I wouldn't pay $599 new for it. People all over the country buy these and use them one time, like myselfSo the goodI like that it opens from the side. My buddies opens from the back and its a huge hassle. Can't reach anything. As you can see, I used a step to get it mounted, and we traveled with a small folding step stool to make it easier to pack the top.Because it has hinges down one side, and latches down the other, its more sturdy. The lock is in the center, but the latch side actually latches in three places. I liked this. Solid. The mounting system was very easy to use. There isn't a lot of parts. It will grab any oval / wing / square within its size capabilities. You shouldn't have any issues with that.It did the job well. I think I fit more items inside the cargo top than I could in our trunk. It really is the perfect size for a CX5.The bad (well, its not really that bad)When its empty, its pretty floppy and it rattles a lot. This is really thin plastic so it doesn't weigh a lot, but it also doesn't have much structure. When its full, its more rigid and there's no rattling or noise. So that's good. The only added noise was a little bit of wind noise when the sunroof shade is open. There's no weather strip or seal around it. There's about 2-3" of plastic that overhangs a lip. This doesn't seem to affect it too negatively, in the rain. There's plenty of free play so I might add some.So here's the bad bad - Its not completely water proof. The water seems to come in from the slot system in the bottom. Even in a light rain we got a little water inside. We had to drive home through tropical storm Ophelia. It was crazy. So we first put a couple towels down in the bottom of the cargo box. Then we bagged anything that went inside in black trash bags. I fit the stroller, a travel suit case, the bouncer, 2 diaper bags, 2 bags of toys, youth life jackets, youth "chair in a bag" and some beach accessories on the way home. It fits a lot. Our system worked good; the towels were pretty wet but everything else was relatively dry.In all, I would recommend this unit. Just don't pay $599 for it. Its a giant thing of plastic. It is significantly better than the ones my friends have. IDK why there's no weather stripping whatsoever. And it does get a little water in the bottom so be prepared for that. But it does add a huge, huge amount of space to the CX5. Like, I don't know how we'd even make the trip without it!If you like my writeup click helpful =)

Fits a 2019 Honda CRV perfectly
Bought this to add space to my Honda CRV micro camper. I have the factory rails and crossbars which do not adjust so I was having a hard time finding a car top carrier that would fit the span and also still allow the tailgate to fully open. This one fits perfectly. I am a small 50+ woman and was able to put this up on the roof by myself. It's a bit of a reach to place the clamps on the far side but doable if I fold down the back seat and stand on top of that. I'm not a huge fan of the clamps with this model since I have hand arthritis and you really need to crank these knobs to secure them. It's an enormous amount of cargo room for additional things that frees up my car "living space" significantly and let's me take along extra "just in case" items that I'd otherwise deliberate on for hours to decide if they're worth taking.
