Quality Reader for Entry Level grade product
I really like this OBD code reader, it's easy to use and does everything you would need for this basic entry level model. I had no problems plugging in and reading/clearing my codes. If you want a detailed definition of each code, diagnostics, live readings, possible fix recommendations, and a link to the cheapest available parts you would want to download the app and sync via Bluetooth to the reader. Data/Wifi will be required as well to use app.One thing to make clear, you do not need a phone, wifi/data or Bluetooth to use this reader. You can simply plug into your car and read your codes and clear them if you want. You'll just have to google what the codes mean to figure out your problem.

Reads ABS Fault codes
Does a good job of reading ABS fault codes. Had a little trouble clearing codes. Works as stated.

Great tool!!
Love this! Costs less than what the mechanic charges you to discover the same thing with his tool, easy to set up and use, and great value for the money!

Not user friendly
The instructions that came with the product are vague. I had to figure it out by downloading a users manual online. And it wants to connect to wifi in order to work properly. Then it asks for the VIN number of the vehicle (I suspect that it does this in order to sync with the recorded history of maintenance done in the past for the vehicle). I done all that and got the codes, replaced all the parts using manufacturers recommendations from the dealership, and then tested my vehicle using the scanner once again. The second time I tested it, I got the same exact results (even though I had already replaced all the parts with new parts). I'm not sure what to make of that. My car is running way better that it has ever run due to the fact I replaced all those parts with new parts; however, I do not know why it is still giving me the same codes as before. I cleared all the codes and ran the test again. Same results. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. idkThe unit is a little tricky. Not that user friendly. For someone like myself who is not a professional mechanic and who does all his own work on the vehicle simply because he can't afford to take it to a mechanic, I would recommend searching for a better scanner. I don't know which ones out there are the best ones, but this scanner seems to lack the technical capabilities required for a "do-it-yourself" mechanic with limited knowledge such as myself. I would have thought that, after replacing all the parts the scanner gave codes for, that would have solved all the issues on my vehicle as far as the check engine light constantly coming on. I cleared it twice and still get the check engine light. I'm probably going to have to take it to someone with better diagnostic capabilities in order to finally get the issues resolved. Either that or buy a better scanner. That's my honest opinion.Mike V.Albuquerque, NM

Purchased recommended by car dealership
So far my car’s engine has not thrown up any codes. It is easy to use, just plug it into the connection for it in your car with the car running. My connection in the cobalt 2009 is under and slightly left of the drive column

Innova scan tool for ABS
The tester arrived quickly. After opening the box, I read the instruction card which had a link to download on my phone. After finally able to get the download, I was informed of a subscription fee. I then put it back in its box and go to Auto Zone for a diagnosis. Bought the parts, fixed the ABS, problem. I then put the tester in its box and put on the shelf. NOT HAPPY.
