Day Designer for Blue Sky 2020-2021 Academic Year Weekly & Monthly Planner Notes, Flexible Cover, 5.8" x 8.6", Climbing Floral Mint

I am a total planner snob, I have done the Erin Condren, Lilly Pulitzer etc. But funds are lacking this year and I need something more realistic. I am an active graduate student that needs monthly and weekly to do's and somewhere to store important info. Where this planner may not have contacts, "travel plans", "important date" sheets, they give you tons of Notes space in the back to fill in those little bits of information that you are sacrificing with the price. I also was surprised by the cover; while I prefer hardcover the plastic covering is sturdy and matte. Perfect size, not too much overkill with colors. Nice clean and neat. I even like the little markers on holiday days on the monthly spread so they stick out! Comes with cute simple stickers to highlight important things or add headers. LOVE.

I ordered it because of the convenient size and vertical daily lay out. The paper quality is fair. It is plain on the inside and that is what I was looking for. I do wonder about the durability and it holding up for a year. But it was a good price so I decided to take a chance on it.

I love the vertical layout of this planner- you can make detailed plans (hourly) 6am-7pm everyday along with space for three main daily objectives and a portion for the evening. It’s so spacious, but the downside is you can’t just stuff it into any purse. I carry it in my tote bag to work. It includes cute golden stickers and a few other cute, little touches.

The academic planner is sturdy- meaning it has never broke since I got it. Thickness- meaning it has enough pages for me write my necessary text. As for value for money- this academic planner is something I need, but it is value at a low scale due to it being replaceable, but only if necessary.

I really like the vertical layout with the hours (6am-7pm). I wanted to get something to track my time so I could see where I was wasting time (social media, instagram, etc) & where I was being productive. I checked with DayDesigner direct & found out that the vertical is only offered via the "Day Designer by Blue Sky" brand. So, I purchased this one for about $20!COVER: It's a thicker card stock with a plastic frosted over. It definitely seems durable. I preferred a plastic cover for durability.VALUE: The Blue Sky version is the more affordable version than the Day Designer flagship line. It doesn't have as much detail in the planner spreads & has a thinner paper quality. Blue Sky is about $10-20 (depending on where you buy it & the layout) whereas the Day Designer mini is about $48. I used the Blue Sky version for years because it was more the price point I was looking for.SIZE: About 6" wide x 8" tall for the planner; 1/2" thick. The planner's size makes it very VERY portable if you wanted to pop this in your purse or backpack since it's so light. I actually used the weekly horizontal version of this planner for a few years for my work schedule. The Blue Sky Day Designer weekly version has more space for the To Do list & a "Top Three" for the week instead.PAPER QUALITY: A little bit thinner than standard printer paper.-Gel pens: bleed through paper-Ballpoint pens: Some ghosting on the paper-Pencils: no ghosting, unless you press really hardTo help this, I wrote on stickers when I used pen then put the stickers on the planner itself. If you use a lot of stickers, this planner might work for you since it is pretty light as it is.Overall, I'm still going to use this one to scribble or time track (I don't want to throw it away or waste it!). But, the thinness of the paper doesn't work for me since I like using gel pens directly on the planner itself. I also like making To Do lists so the Top Three, while it does help me focus, does not give me enough space to write with the vertical. I ended up purchasing the Day Designer flagship version for the Daily spread to give myself a bit more room to write plus has a combination of the vertical hourly AND a longer to do list space.

I wanted something with a weekly vertical format and this is great :) Very sturdy and pretty design. Super fast shipping.

I LOVE this planner. It's an hour by hour planner throughout the week and it also shows full months. The notes section in the back and the folder pockets in the front are great bonuses.

The paper are thick enough with great quality. Print is really nice as well. Really satisfied with this purchase.

Super bel agenda, mon meilleur jusqu'à présent ! Qualité, détails, tout y est! Je cherchais désespérément un agenda séparé en heure et non juste un gros rectangle vide par journée ! Il est encore mieux que prévu avec des : Top 3 priorities au début de chaque journée + decortication en heure + espace pour écrire pour la soirée et tout ca a tous les jours ! Il est magnifique!

Love that it includes label and a bookmark. The pages are large enough to write everything you need for the day. The layout is good and simple and breaks down your day by the hour. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone that wants to keep their year organized.

J'adore cette agenda, je l'utilise tout les jours. Je m'attendais à ce qu'il soit en peut plus grand en regardant l'image du produit. L'agenda est bien organisé, il est jolie à regarder et vient même avec une règle et de jolie autocollants dorés. Bref, cette agenda m'est très utile dans la vie de tout les jours.

I was looking for a planner that had days, weeks and months. I am working full time and taking three different online course so I need to keep on top of things. It is perfect for this. Not too big, not to small. Lots of room to write things. Love it
