Impressive little unit for the price
Have to commend the manufacturers of this device. It was well made, simple to set up and connect to over Bluetooth and works flawlessly, with really good sound quality for the price.I just needed a simple to use device to bring an old Bang and Olufsen Beocentre 9500 and Beolab 8000 Speakers into the 21st century, to play music from laptop / tablet / phone.I had to get a 3.5mm to DIN cable to connect it to the stereo (really old school!), but once connected I was really impressed by the sound quality, considering I was streaming MP3 over Bluetooth. Input is a little on the quiet side, but turning the volume up a couple of notches and switching the Loudness setting on the B&O unit sorted that.It powers from any USB charger but, although it comes with a USB-A cable, it doesn't come supplied with the charger. So you may want to invest in one as it runs off the mains, not battery. I actually prefer this though. It also comes with various cables in the box, such as Optical, Coax and 3.5mm, and for a pleasant change, easy to understand instructions!Suited my non-audiophile needs perfectly.

Excellent receiver.
Easy set up, works well and has good distance connectivity. Works brilliant with my Cambridge Media Streamer. Sound quality is excellent and supports high quality formats.

Works well
Connects easily. Does not drop out, even when phone is other end of house.Has the all important (for me) digital audio out, hence a cleaner sound. I found other similar gadgets I've tried with phono out (analogue) only have a lot of hiss and the volume level is low, so you have to really crank your amplifier up beyond normal range to hear anything. I haven't even tried the analogue out on this one as I've hooked it up via digital out.Had it for 2 years now. More than happy.

Transformed my hi fi.
This unit was easy to instal and pair with the iPhone. I used the toslink to the amplifier of my ancient but high quality Pioneer Hi-Fi. It worked first time and produced high fidelity sound in keeping with the system. There has been no dropping out and pairing new devices is a doddle. I had tried a cheaper unit previously but there was introduced noise and the sound quality was poor so I am delighted with the new receiver. Great value.

Latency problem
Easy to use but didn't fix my problem, receiving a audio signal from a projector though I suspect it is the projectors problem

Excellent Sound
A friend had recently sent me an Amazon gift voucher as a birthday gift so I decided to go for this bluetooth receiver. My main use of it is to stream music either from a new Android phone I'll soon be getting or from my Echo Dot 3rd Gen which will include listening to internet radio. I had previously purchased an Aukey bluetooth receiver but whilst that was good I decided to get this not only because of the volume control but also because it has aptX low latency. It arrived yesterday and since then I've been 100% satisfied with the sound. I unwrapped it, took it across to my HiFi, plugged in the Aux cable, then the micro USB cable, plugged it into a USB wall plug then switched it on, pressing the volume button till it reached the max, then I paired it with my Echo device, afterwards turning that to the max volume and told Alexa to play Andy Williams music. In no time Andy Williams was coming through my speakers with excellent sound, much better than the Aukey. This morning I tried a Beethoven Piano Concerto Cycle with Sir Colin Davis as conductor and where as with the Aukey I had to turn the volume up pretty high to hear it, on this one there was no need for that. There's also a bass boost on it which makes the sound so much better. Anyway just a bit of help if you're not sure how to set it up or are a blind person as I am.In the box you'll find the 1MII bluetooth receiver. Unwrap this and then in the box there are several cables. If like me you just want to use this sort of cable, have it plugged into the aux socket on your HiFi and the other end into the receiver. Place the 1MII with the aerials pointing away from you and the receiver standing on a hard surface. It has four round rubber non-slip circles at the bottom. At the top in the centre there's a large button which is the pause knob if you're listening to something. With the arials pointing away from you there are two sockets, the first on the left is the micro USB cable. As there is no plug, it might be wise to get a USB plug from Amazon (I use the Amazonbasics which serves excellently). Plug the other end into your wall socket plug and the next socket is the Aux socket. Once you're set up, on the bottom on the right there's a round button which is on and off. Press it once and the receiver will start up. On your left is the bass boost so if you want excellent sound, press that then at the top you'll find the volume down and on the right the volume up. With a long press these buttons will skip back and forward respectively. Pair your Echo device or phone and you're good to go.I will be continuing to use this until I eventually go into streaming in a bigger way but I can certainly recommend it if you just want it for the HiFi in your room. There are two other sockets on the right at the top but as I don't use them I'm not sure what they are nor am I anxious to explore them since what I now have gives excellent sound.

It connect to old retro HiFi systems.
I bought this to be able to connect my iPhone, which has a digital music library to my old HiFi system, and it works great, so I now can play my retro musicc collection along with my digital collection through the same Amp and speakers.
