The best and most universal pretzels ever!
These pretzels are among the best ever tasted! They're firmly in my top 3.1. Utz2. Snider's3. Laura ScuddersNo other pretzels are worth your time than these three. And as you can see I placed them in order of greatness.Let's talk about Utz. These pretzels have the perfect crispiness, the dough of the pretzels are at a perfect thickness, easy to crunch and chew, the salt is just right to highten the overall flavor of this superb pretzel.Great by itself or for a special treat eat them with some cubes or slices of sharp white or yellow cheddar cheese or the smoothe perfection of a soft harvati.Dare to have them with a nice hot soup or dipped in some organic peanut butter or almond butter with a side of fresh fruit. The perfect snack for your kids in school just pack a small ziploc full. On the go or just at home or at your desk at work these pretzels will save the day. I always take some on vacations they're perfect in the car on a short or long trip snack . Also perfect in a hotel snack. Shelf stable! These pretzels are a prize to enjoy and I highly recommend them.10/10 these are the best!

You cannot get this flavor without this level of darkness. And omg the salt is there...
Utz Sourdough Specials Pretzels are special. You cannot get this depth of flavor without baking pretzels to this level of darkness. And omg the salt is there where it should be. The crunch is not teeth shattering, though it seemed like it would be before taking a bite. it yields to the bite and does not turn to dry dust but it crumbles and bursts with flavor the way all pretzels used to be when i was a kid. I wont ever buy another barely salted, dust storm producing pale pretzel again now that i have found these. It is Utz Sourdough Specials Pretzels or i will eat something else until i can get these.

Delicious, crispy...just right!
I have been shopping around for the past year for good pretzels, and I think I have finally found the best. Not only are these nice and big, but they are not TOO salty, not TOO hard, have just the flavor I have been looking for, and trust me, I have probably bought 8 different brands, some too salty, some taste burnt and some were just little little to feel like I have eaten anything. AND, love being able to buy them in such a giant jar, because they are a bit addictive, and my dog makes me share them with her.

Great tasting pretzels
These are our new favorite pretzels. Great taste and perfectly salted. We've just ordered our fourth package. The only reason we're not giving 5 stars is that they often arrive with most of the pretzels broken. Not every time but two out of four packages had more broken than not. Whether that's from rough handling or from poor packaging is up for debate. Doesn't affect the taste, though. If you're a pretzel fan these deserve a try.

Shhhh, lets keep this a secret
These pretzels, in this quantity and price are the best deal around. I used to get them by the bag at the grocery store, but this is the way to go. They arrive almost completely intact and are very fresh. Way better than the bags from the store, and far better than we should expect. I’m very satisfied. That said, let’s keep this to ourselves for now. Would hate for UTZ to have supply problems if John Q. Public made a run on them. 😇

Do UTZ sourdough special pretzels lose an innordinate amount of salt in transit ?
Their are a number of comments about UTZ sourdough special pretzels arriving via mail order with pretzels broken and salt shaken off. I wasdisappointed to read these comments as I live in an area where I can't buy them locally. I had a 28 oz container 3/4 full ofthese pretzels I had purchased in a store so I decided to take a chance and order another 28 oz container from Amazon to see if there really was adifference. When the pretzels arrived I was pleased to see that the number of broken pretzels and the amount of salt shaken off ontothe bottom of the containers was basically the same in both containers....an amount which I would consider " normal " .

Arrived with thick layer of dirt and 4 weeks from expiring.
Arrived covered in dust/dirt. We were going to deal with that, but the expiration date was only 1 month out on a huge tub of pretzels. These sat out in a warehouse for a long time somewhere. Side note - 2 jars of pickles in the same shipment had their lids dented and the safety seals were popped, leaking juice. Chalk it up to a bad shipping day, I guess.
