Essentially to understand the torts concept!
I initially began torts using my professor’s tort book. His book was vague, unclear, and just terrible. To fast forward, I now have another proffessor who uses this book. This book is amazing because the concepts are presented clearly, and it is well organized. Unlike my first professor’s book, I do not have to refer to treatise’s, restatement’s, and Lexis. I love it! Online Textbook
Does not include code for an online textbook if you buy new. Online textbook is necessary for law school to quickly command-f to find certain keywords, especially when outlining at the end of the year. buying the online version separately is almost $150. Please make sure to buy a version of the book that actually comes with the online version or buy directly from West academic.

Required for school, but not for learning the law
Required for class - but I had to supplement with the Hornbook to really catch on. Would not have chosen this for my text if I had a choice!
