NERF Modulus Strike and Defend Upgrade Kit

Got this for work..... yes... work. We have office Nerf wars and a select few people take it competitively, me being one of them. I attached this to a Nerf crossbow I had that isn't part of the Modulus line, and it fit like a charm. This is bigger/longer than the other stocks I've used or seen on other Nerf guns, and you can really hug it into your body and get some great shots! It comes with one Nerf dart, and it is a single shot Nerf gun in itself! The shield has saved me many times from deadly crossfire, and I would recommend this product to anyone looking to upgrade their existing Nerf gun, or to anyone just looking to buy a cheap Nerf gun to play around with! With the shield and the single shot action, everyone will cower in fear of your power!

This one has some redeeming value. It has a shield that can attach to any of the rail mounts. Hypothetically, you could get three of them for maximum defense. The shield can flip down if it interfering with your aim, but does add a little protection around the face. The other component is a a much more stable stock. This stock is a bit longer, so it works better for parents. It also doubles as a single shot holdout blaster (you an detach the stock and fire a single round out of it). This attachment is totally worth the additional expense. My only issue with this set is that the four year old wants to use the stock as HIS blaster, so he can play with me and the 9 year old (which means I don't really get the bonus stability). I'd rate this kit as a 5 star item."

I held off on picking this one up for a while mostly because the "blaster shield" component is less-that-diserable for anything but fun blaster cosmetic upgrades. This is because the shield itself is very small, and actively using an object to block Nerf rounds is becoming more difficult as blaster power increases.Despite this, the blaster stock attachment is actually a very fun and reasonably useful tool in the Nerf arsenal. Not only is it a reasonably comfortable stock that is compatible with a large number of Nerf N-Strike Elite and Modulus blasters (among others), the stock itself is a direct-plunger blaster that can be detached for a quick "hold-out" style shot. As with most N-Strike Elite direct-plunger builds, the blaster stock is reasonably powerful though with the traditional wild accuracy of Elite Darts, but as with most Elite blasters it can also take more accurate third-party options as well.Overall, a fun upgrade kit for a Modulus arsenal, though the weight of this one is on the blaster stock so it's probably best to wait for a lower price if that is the only sought-after part.

My son really wanted this. He watched some guy on youty, talk endlessly about this gun and all the components.He saved up enough money for it too. At first we went to go look for it locally. But the stores that "said" they had it didn't. So we got it online.He loves it. He showed me how to put it together and take it apart three times in one week. More Nerf bullets to add to the inventory around my house, yay.

My son bought it with his birthday money. He was so happy when he received it early.

I got this for my Retaliator, and I knew this would fit because modules. One thing I didn't count on is how WELL it fits.The stock that comes with the Retaliator is smaller than I personally liked, so I actually gave it to my roomate for his Recon stock, which is decent.I was looking into getting just the shield, but then I found this with the shield and the stock, so I figured "Little more, but I get a stock with an extra dart. What could go wrong?"This fits me perfectly, and with the extra dart, it's handy for emergency standoffs.
