it worked but.........
I have had the sleep z mouthpiece for 6 weeks and I am rather disappointed that it has only lasted this long considering I have only used it twice a week. I found this mouthpiece actually worked and reduced my snoring considerably however it was quite uncomfortable to wear giving me sore teeth in the morning hence only using it twice a week. I was hoping to gradually increase the usage as I got more used to it as recommended by the instructions. Unfortunately as you can see from the pictures I will no longer be able to use it as the silicone has actually come away from the plastic so I can't actually wear it any more. All in all, this product could be the solution to snoring but the design needs looking at as it should not fall apart in such a short period of time especially when used sparingly

Works most of the time.
This does stop you from snoring, most of the time. Can be a little bit uncomfortable on the teeth though.

The concept works butvthis product doesn't
I bought this as a christmas present to my partner to help me stop snoring. It works but it doesn't fit well. It feels too small in my mouth and after trying to re-mould it for the four time the mould part has detached from the solid frame. Spend more snore less.

Poor Quality
The mouthguard fell to pieces after two nights of wearing. Also didn't stop me snoring.

It solves the issue but it has its flaws
Now this product does work and it has stopped my keeping my wife awake at night as well as improving the quality of my sleep. The only drawback is I wake up with sore teeth, now this could just be an issue I face but I feel like it’s worth noting. The mouth piece is easy to fit and stays in no issues at night.

Waste of money
I bought this device as a replacement for the cheaper version I usually use. I followed the instructions and within the first step the bottom shelf had broken away from the guard, I thought it would be ok when it molded. I then moved onto the molding process and I could barely even fit the guard in my mouth. I don't have perfectly straight teeth which meant that I had to manually manipulate the mold to fit around my teeth. Once I had finally finished the molding process I almost threw up! The guard is so big and uncomfortable, I had no space left in my mouth for the things that should actually be there like my tongue!I'm so disappointed as I paid twice the price for this and I got as far as attempting to mold it and now I cannot use it! It is literally a waste of money and will be going in the bin! Thankfully I had some sense to buy my regular ones as well! Don't buy it if you don't have a small mouth or perfectly straight teeth!

This is a good.
I have used several types of these devices before finding this one. This is my favourite so far and compares to one I paid nearly £200 for. I've just taken delivery of a new one, hence the updated review. It is easy to mould and adjust, it is good fit (I'm a man) and the sturdy construction means the adjustment catch stays in place (this one seems to be even sturdier than the last). The bottom jaw adjustment catch is the key to how these devices work, they bring your lower jaw forward. (If you snore, jut your jaw as far forward as you can and try and make a snoring sound, if doing this lessens the snore sound you make then this device should help). As such these are much better devices than the single piece type guards which are designed more for teeth grinding (bruxism) noise. The nose breathing cones are a bonus and I find them comfortable enough. I definitely sleep better and wake up without sore ribs! I like the carry case that it comes in, as it has no holes it is good for immersing the guard in cleaning fluid. If you've never used one of these before they do take some getting used to, and your teeth / jaw may hurt for a few days but stick with it and you will feel the benefit. Have a quiet night!

Painful and ineffective
I don't know if the problem is with this specific product, or the technology as a whole. In a sense, I can't really fault the product -- it does what a device of this type is supposed to do. More likely, I guess, is that mandibular advancement does not work for everybody. Perhaps it depends on the shape of your jaws and teeth. In any event, although it was easy to fit the device, it remains very uncomfortable. However I set it, it hurts my cheeks (temperomandibular joint, I guess). If I push the lower plate forward enough that it has effect on snoring, it hurts my lower teeth as well. When advanced like this, it also tends to detach from my lower jaw when I sleep. It doesn't take long for my mouth to fill with saliva which, owing to the shape of the device, I can't swallow. So I wake up in a puddle of drool.I've found that, however I adjust the device, and however much pain and unpleasantness I'm willing to tolerate, I can still snore.Still, the device is relatively inexpensive. If you're unsure whether this kind of technology will work for you, buying one of these is much cheaper than getting one made by a dentist (three to four hundred quid). But a boxer's gum shield is essentially the same as this, and will only cost a fiver.Based on my experience, I can't recommend this product. However, that might not be the fault of the product -- it's a gamble whether this sort of device will work.
