Listen cheap black lug nuts even the expensive ones won’t last long because it’s a black coating. I had mine for 2 months now and I wash my car once every week and now I’m getting a bit of the rust coloring on the side of the lug nut which i knew was going to happen it’s like the old saying you get what you get and you don’t throw a fit!

These lug nuts come better packaged than eggs from the grocery store !I got tired of fighting with the old lug nuts just to get the socket on and off (2008 MX-5 Miata) and they were not worth cleaning , after all they are12 years old ! The old ones have the hollow chrome tops so when you use a screwdriver in the socket to punch them out the tops were get smashed up ... time for new ones !Found these Black 19mm lug nuts and the only difference was the old ones were a little shorter and were 21mm , not a big deal when you factor in the price of the new ones I can live with the difference and switch to these !Here is how I know they are solid with a bullet proof coating ... removed the first old lug nut ... it stuck in the socket , pulled the socket off the impact and I did the screwdriver thing to punch it out of the socket , hit it with the hammer and put the socket back on my impact gun ... stupid me , got a new lug nut and hit it with the impact gun ... yup , I for got to turn the socket over from 21mm to 19mm ..... now the new lug nut was wedged in socket really tight ... oh well .. put the flat head screwdriver in the socket and hit it with the hammer ... the new lug nut shoots into the cement floor at about 100 mph and bounces away ... Surprised me ... no dented top and not a mark on it from where the screwdriver hit the top of it , didn't even chip the black coating .... These things are solid ... These lug nuts are well made and well worth the price ... Although my car was not listed they do fit ! The picture of the wheel with chrome lug nuts are the old ones ... the picture with the black lug nut are the new ones .**** I do not know this seller before the purchase and was not asked to write this ... but it is a really great price compared to other sellers !Update ... Check this out ... get a scrap piece of vinyl auto wrap and add some color !

Get rid of the original Ford lug nuts ASAP and replace them with these new ones. ​The original lug nuts are not solid and have a cover that will swell, preventing their removal with the vehicle's lug wrench. The first pic shows one wheel with the original lug nuts and the top, left one was swollen and had to destroy and remove the cover to remove the lug nut with a different size socket. The other pic shows 2 tires with these new black lug nuts that fit and look great!! I replaced all the lug nuts with these new black ones...

Perfect fit replacement for the old chrome lug nuts on my Ford Escape.

The first three lug nuts went on my 2016 Focus just fine, but the fourth one was too big and loose to fit. So we took one of the first ones off and it fit on that bolt just fine. There was obviously some mistake and they sent us two different sizes of lug nuts in one box. Buyer beware.
