Fits the 2.3 ecoboost too!
The description says it fits the Mustang GT, it also fits the 2.3 ecoboost. I have K&N filters in all 3 of my vehicles. The 1st time they need a filter I put in a K&N lifetime filter. They work great and they are far less expensive than throw aways, over a short period of time. I do the same with my motorcycles. They have never let me down.

Skeptical at first but very satisfied
I wasn't sure what to expect from this filter. I feel like across the board of aftermarket products, everyone is trying to sell you on an idea, regardless if it's true or, more often, not true. After install I didn't notice anything nor was I really testing to find out. I just continued to drive as normal and see what my thoughts would be after some time. Two things that get brought up about aftermarket filters, power and noise, I would say are negligible. I noticed no difference, seemed stock to me. However, one thing that did surprisingly creep up on me was mpgs. Now in the 2020 GT, I'm sure some purest out there loaths the conversation about mpgs and v8s, but when you daily drive it, its worth talking about. Now for reference I drive 95% highway and usually drive at 80mph for a total of 80 highway miles a day with limited to not traffic. I did not notice any change initially changing my filter. Now I religiously reset my mpg gauge so I know what I should be getting ever trip. What I started to notice with time was increased fuel economy. You see, my mpgs were not going up drastically, a couple tenths here and there, but not before long I was a legit 1 to 2 mpg higher than my baseline. I was consistently getting better fuel economy, I went from 25 to 27. I would struggle to get 4 days worth of fuel, heck sometimes i couldnt; I was cutting it close most of the time but it was doable and it was consistent for the most part. But now getting 4 days worth of fuel out of the car was easier. Look it didn't turn the car into a prius, just in my application it was saving my butt and giving me more peace that after 4 days of driving, I didn't have to stair my fuel gauge going home on my 4th day.

K&N drop in filter as is alway a great investment.
Spent years always going back to a K&N drop in filter.Have tried everything from K&N FIPK (fuel injection performance kit) to Injen as well as other brand CAI, and the results are always the same, CAI or FIPKs suck hot air when driving in traffic. Factory air boxes are designed to meet all needs and the Only thing a car needs is a better filter than paper, and a K&N drop in does a damn good job right there.My 2017 mustang GT gets 17 MPG with 50/50 city/highway driving with Ford and aftermarket paper filters. And as usual the K&N is getting me 19 MPG and still creeping up closer to 20 MPG. Cars don't need after market CAIs if you are looking for better throttle response and quicker times, CAI only give you those improvements while the engine is cold, once the engine warms up all your expectations go south. A K&N drop in and a tune will be in the same ball park as a CAI and a tune and against some CAIs a drop in and tune will do better. If you are not getting a tune, the drop in is still the same if not better than a CAI without a tune.Just keep a paper filter in the trunk for when you need to wash the K&N. K&N has to dry on its own without using a hair drier or heat gun, any forced air or heat will destroy a K&N.

WOW !!!
I popped this bad boy in my car and gained at least 80 more horsepower.Just kidding it does help my Stang breathe easier though. The only reason I bought it from Amazon is because the nearest store was charging 10 dollars more for it.
