To use the Miswak, something is removed from the end of the bark. The exposed piece is chewed until bristles form like a toothbrush. With the bristle end the teeth are cleaned. Toothpaste, as with conventional toothbrushes is not needed. Other benefits: makes teeth white. Cleans the opening. Strengthens gums and prevents gum problems. Removes and prevents plaque and tooth decay. Directions 1. Scratch the bark approx. 1 cm from the top... 2. Chew the tips until bristles form... 3. Brush your teeth horizontally... 4. If the taste has decreased, cut off the bristles and repeat the instructions.
