The Right Kind of Strong: Surprisingly Simple Habits of a Spiritually Strong Woman

I love this book, it really challenged me to look at who I am in Christ and who I was made to be vs who I’ve adapted myself to be. The emotions section had a big impact as I tend to shove my emotions away but she address this issue and points out that we were made with emotions so we could better experience the world around us.

I cannot wait to dive more into this book. It is so beautifully written, and an easy read. It encourages and convicts in the sweetest ways.

I really enjoyed the historical part of the women in Ephesus, it made them more real. This book has a lot of biblical truth to back up the right kind of strong for a disciple woman. I like how the author is humble and relatable through out the book. I would recommend this book to all the women who want to live freely, without timidity and with courage.

So grateful to have been a suggestion to read this book! Great scripture throughout and will put the 7 habits of a strong woman into play in my life!

One of best books I have read lately. Scripture based and many practical applications from a biblical view point. Each chapter are long but with lots of meat to chew on. Even though geared towards women. Very much applicable to both men and women.

Very straightforward, encouraging, and true. However, you need to be ready/prepared for this book. I had to stop reading it because I felt like I was taking a bit of a beating. I’ll come back later, for sure. But it requires a certain frame of mind.

Amazing book for the believer who want to strengthen her walk of faith with Jesus. Very conversational- it feels like Mary is sitting at your table as you read each chapter. Filled with tons of fact and Biblical truth. Using it for personal growth and in a mentor ship friendship. Highly recommend.

I’ve read quite a few books in the genre, and this is not one I would necessarily recommend. Not much substance... there are no arguments or lessons to be learned from this book that are unique to it... There are much better books out there with similar purposes
