Generic 2nd Sata Hard Drive Ssd Caddy Adapter for Dell Latitude E5430 E5510 E5530

I used this on a Latitude E5430. I would give it 4.5 stars actually. It seems a little flimsy, but once installed in the laptop where it's protected, it is fine. The reason for the -.5 star is that it does not fit the laptop as-is. The front face is totally the wrong one, and there's no retainer bracket. However, if you have the old OEM DVD player, you can use the bracket from that (it simply unscrews), and you can pop the faceplate off the DVD tray and swap it - they use the same mounting holes, and line up correctly. Performance is fine, when used with a quality SSD it transferred at the expected speed (about 400MB/s).

sturdy built slides right in to the slot. The only drawback is that its slightly shorter than the cd drive and hence its slightly inside the laptop.
