3M 79905 Scotchcal Reflective Striping Tape, 1/4-Inch by 50-Foot, Blue

It is the most reflective of the tapes I have on my car, even though it is dark blue usually. The quality of this tape seems very good, it sticks really well, and doesn’t seem like it will fall off soon.There is also the only one out of the 4 I tried to have a clear protector on the outside of the tape.At most angles, the tape’s dark blue color blends in surprising well with my car’s paint. Only when you have a light source coming from the direction of your eyes do the tape start its magnificent glow.I liked it so much I bought 2 of them!

This tape is perfect to add a reflective pinstripe to the frame of a mountain bike. I like how the tape is easy to apply and is repositionable for the first few minutes before one applies pressure for the final and permanent adhesion. After the tape is applied, simply remove the laminate covering the tape to reveal an extremely reflective coating. This tape is extremely reflective and worth the price!

Adhesive is perfect combination of tacky for initial repositioning and strong for the final rub down. There may be a few spots of excessive glue which show up through the tape in "bumps". 99% if tape applies smoothly. Blue changes color under the various light conditions. That is what I want to see.

I used this reflective strip on my motorcycle and helmet to promote safety and to add some color.The Good: Easy to apply, stays in place, looks cool at the right angle.The Bad: Nothing I could think of.(Note, in the photo, how flexible this tape is and how it allows you to be stretched and bent as needed)

Put this on my 2015 Mustang Roush . Went through one winter with the car covered. Spring time comes....tape began to crack and split. Absolutely looks horrible. All the time and effort to install was a waste of time. Paid a lot of money because I wanted quality. This stuff is Garbage... I purposely went back to look at my purchases to find this one so I could write this review. DO NOT BUY!

I bought this to put on my car. I wanted to show everyone I support the police, but didn't want one of those flags with the blue line. I already have a red, white, and blue flag on my car. I put this "thin blue line" on my car and people love the idea.

OK first of all, it has a clear, protective film over the top. You need to remove that after you install it. I put this on my helmet and my motorcycle as the color matched both extremely well. After properly cleaning both with window cleaner and alchohol installation was simple. You can easily make curves and shapes with this tape to make a design or follow the curve of the surface you are applying it to. Follow that with properly pressing it on. Let it dry for a half day or so - and it's not coming off. Very good reflectiviyt as well.

Excellent product. I pin-stripped my car with a very minimal side line and it looks great. The reflection in head lights is cool, in my opinion. I applied it indoors in a heated garage. The weather outside was very cold. I worried about it sticking, especially during high-pressure and brush-based car washes, but so far it has held just fine. I bought second roll to have if any comes loose. I used the black on this car, but there are other colors that might look good. It appears black in sunlight or a lighted room, but reflects a white color when hit with headlights... or a camera flash!
