Nursing home cheaped out on booties for decubitus ulcers on heels—gave my loved one glorified pillows that won't do a ¿&#$ thing to help. These, on the other hand, were suggested by the wound-care doctor they FINALLY let her see. They're confusing to put on at first (and sometimes staff gets it wrong too), but once you realized the tags are supposed to protrude from soles if feet, and you match colors of velcro one to the other, they're easy. And they WORK. And are comfortable. Expensive, but worthwhile investment.

These are terrific for ankle/heel support, but the wedge provided on the boot is useless when you use these lying down on your back.

My mom had heel surgery and her surgical Podiatrist recommended this boot. It is soft and easy to apply. The only issue is the inside is cloth and so if there is any drainage from an open wound it will easily stain. Easy to apply. Velcro ties.

Works great keeps sore heels elevated or from getting sore at all. Just pricey

Bought two pair for my mother 180 some dollars two $20 pillows would have done the same thing not at all worth the money they want for it

Wedge is not removable. Made for bed ridden people who don't move much.

I am paralyzed from the waist down and suffer from spasms in my legs. My other orthotic boots caused sores on my ankles. These boots are like heaven! They keep my feet straight and the sores are finally healing. Where I used to have incredible pain and nasty spasms, I have relief and joy knowing that my boots don't cause excruciating pain. I could say a million more great things about the boots but will surely run out of room!
