Stays put and works
Easy to install with silicone caulk. I glued it down with the silicone caulk where I wanted it by applying caulk to sides that would be touching bathtub and wall. I went back later and applied more caulk as needed to make sure that I had a good seal. Works like a charm, no more water on the floor and it is attached well, no movement at all. The size is perfect. Overall I recommend this splash guard but be advised you do have to get your hands a little dirty with the caulk and you have to be careful in positioning the guard so that the water will be channeled back into the bathtub. I think the directions should have had a few more pictures for reference on placement and use of caulk.

good value, does its job
The Splash Guard is easy to 'install', if you call 'caulking' an installation. It looks good and does its job very well. My baseboards/floors are DRY now, which makes me happy. The installation insert calls for caulk adhesive, which I used, but I think I'd go with a high-end silicone caulk instead, the adhesive is just messy and hard to clean up. Also, the splash guards do work when your walls are not absolutely 90degree angled (my house is from the 40's), just add more silicone to the bottom or the wall part. The bottom part of the splash guard is smooth, while the wall part is hollow. Not so great for the silicone (or rather the waste of it) and the sturdiness (I assume), but it is durable enough for its purpose.I'd buy it again and would recommend it. :)

It works, but it's a project to install and you need extra materials
First, it does it's job, and that's the key. But, it's a commitment to get this thing in properly. My bathtub "frame" is slightly curved, so I used an electric sander to get the angle of the corner dialed in. I do not have a lathe or anything for a careful cut. Once I sanded it, I cleaned the frame and applied a thick waterproof glue to the side and bottom. After a few hours of dry time, I went back and applied waterproof caulk to fully seal the entire thing. I am very pleased with both the look and its function, but it is an involved project.I will add that I was so frustrated by the "lake" of water next to the shower from my DH, that I also ended up adding other items, probably unnecessarily. But I will describe them here to give you a sense of additional options. I purchased a plastic curved piece that you can attach to the top of the shower curtain to bend it back against your shower wall to minimize the water running past it; "SlipX Solutions Shower Curtain Splash Guard". And just to really go all in, I also bought the Amazon Shower curtain magnetic clips to hold the curtain against the wall. The curtain is mysteriously unattached from this every time I take a shower. 5 people in my family... someone knows something about this...Between all 3 pieces, I have no water leaking onto my shower floor!I hope this is helpful for those of you deciding what to do. If you are not handy and not inclined towards glue and caulking installation, maybe try the shower curtain guard and magnets first. But if you are fed up and ready to go all in, I believe the guard is an excellent solution.

Hmmm they work but are difficult
We installed a new curve tub and curved shower curtain rod but we're having difficulties with keeping water off of our floors. We bought these in hopes that any water that made it past the curtain would be deflected back into the tub by these. These do serve that purpose, but were a royal pain to install. Mine came with no backing, which was fine because I had intended to chalk them in place anyway. The difficulty came in getting them to line up with my tub and the wall. I ended up hitting them with the heat gun and then sanding off a few higher ridges. The final result was good, I just wouldn't have expected to have to work so hard. I'll admit I'm a little OCD so you may not have the same result, but don't expect to just throw them up and not have to work at all.

Surprised how good it is!
When I opened the box after receiving my order I was a little concerned because the inner box that held the product (not the shipping box) looked like it had been through a war zone! My mind automatically thinks that this might have been a return after someone tried to glue it in! But when I opened the box, the product was sound and not damaged in any way. These are probably geared more towards someone with a bit more experience than average with calking. The reason I say that is because others that I have purchased for places I have lived in the past come with double stick tape to hold the unit in place while you calk it in. This has no double stick tape. But if you know how, and have some good experience with silicone calking, you wont have any problems.1) Ease of Installation. This unit would be for those that have medium skill level or higher with calking. The guards to have a completely flat bottom surface which makes your initial calking easy to set into place.2) concave design. One of the things I really like about this particular splash guard is that the side that faces inward towards the shower is concave, forcing the water away from the wall corner. This feature keeps water from pooling up at the corner which keep mold from growing so easily.3) Size. This size is a bit larger and taller than most of the other designs of similar price. This is a bonus as it helps keep more water from escaping the shower.I am completely satisfied with this purchase. Some people that don't have experience with calking these in, may not realize that tubs and showers don't often have completely flat surfaces, and the surfaces are different for every shower or tub. So, that's where your skills at calking come into effect. You will use the calking to fill in those areas that are not completely matching up with the splash guard. I highly recommend this calking for the application: GE Silicone II Calking. I prefer the the interior/exterior paintable version because you can use it on other applications which means less waste.
