Sentry Solutions Tuf-Glide Dry Lube Gun Knife CLP Cloth Pouch

I wasn't sure what I was getting with this product, but having received it and used it over the last few months, I'm very satisfied. Works very well in cleaning, shining and oiling your blades. With a little elbow grease added it can clean off the typical residues you'll find after using your knives. If it had a press-lock closure at the top of the bag, I must have had to destroy it to get the bag open, because there's nothing there now. Not a problem though. I just folded the top over and fastened in closed with a large paper clip. Works fine. I use it at least once a week and there's been no sign at all of the cloth "drying out." It has a strange scent to it which initially was off-putting, but I now I actually like the smell. EDIT: I purchased the "jar" model and there's no difference in the cloth; just that it's kept in a container for better protection from drying out.

Fantasic product!!I was fairly surprised how well this cloth cleaned up and protected my knives once dried.The smell isn't bad at all as others have said.Works great to protect your firearms as well. Be careful on certain types of plastic, as it lightened the black stock on a rifle, but not on other types of plastic stocks.I couldn't tell until it dried, but just washed it off with a wet paper towel. Seems to be fine now.Probably should of tested a small area first like any product.Regardless, I'm very pleased at the performance.nCompared to other good brands that are totally dry that still work well, this 'saturated' TUF-CLOTH is much better. Plus you can reactivate it with by purchasing Sentry Solutions mineral spirits and it's good as new. Definitely my new cloth to clean and protect my investments.

i bought this product not knowing exactly what it does, i had never heard of it before. i learned about it reading a review on a knife i bought o Amazon of course and the person raved out it so i decided to check it out. After reading a few reviews it seemed legit. So i bought one and boy do i love it. it is a great product and it does everything the descripton says and then some. i had an issue with finger prints on my spyderco blade and this took care of that no problem. i also live in the Greater NW Seattle area so we have a lot of moisture here and this has helped protect my blades from the moisture. What i also appreciated greatly was that i opened it up and was able to use it on 10 different blades without it drying up or running out and i think i wlll be able to use this on the blades again in a month or so since it has the resealable package.

Tuf-Cloth is a good product. It provides good protection for your knives, but it's getting more and more expensive. For over $7.00 a package, this product, while effective, isn't necessarily such a great value. At $4.00, this is a 5-star product all the way, but at $7.49 and rising, it's getting expensive, and I'm starting to look for other options. That being said, this stuff works pretty well. If you live near the ocean, you may want to purchase the Marine Tuf-Cloth which is even more expensive. I've seen that for sale for as much as $9.49. I wish the price would go down on the tuf-cloths, but that's not happening.

Absolutely, positively, the best of this type product I've seen! I've been using Outers Silicone Gun Cloths on all of my firearms and knives since my military days to prevent rust and corrosion, and experiencing very decent results; the problem I ran into with that product is that the 'coating' they apply never completely dries; therefore, for example, when you place your knife back in its sheath, especially if a leather sheath, it removes, or soaks up part of the silicone lubricant which you just applied. Not good. A good protectant but not when compared with Tuf-Cote. This product goes on easily, a few quick swipes on the blade, then dries within minutes, leaving a dry micro-bonding shield to the blade itself. You may place your prized High Carbon Hunting knife back into its proper sheath within a couple of minutes without worry of it losing some of its original effectiveness due to the absorption by the leather sheath. At first, in testing it out, I began using it on just a couple of my more expensive blades, but once seeing the immediate result of the quick drying lubricant, I recently applied this coating to virtually all of my 200+ knife collection. You must see it work; I'm sold! Thank you for reading my unbiased review. *Afterthought: This product works just as effectively on firearms and fishing reels!

This here will help prevent and rust on your guns or swords. I myself use it on my sword here and there to polish and remove any oils on it. After using it properly it's nice and shiny! Thank you for making such a great product, and I see why Navy Seals use it! I would recommend anyone who cares about there weapons to use this item too. It only takes a couple minutes not even to wipe down my sword and leave it with a sparkle. After using the product I'd recommend to wash your hands, as soon as possible, because what ever is on the cloth goes onto your hands and doesn't smell very good. To sum it all up, buy this product, and you will not regret it.

I bought this for my carbon steel and Damascus knives, I got tired of using little oil applicators with the needle tips and spreading it around with my finger. This works great, just wipe down the blade with the cloth and done! It leaves a nice thin layer of protection that lasts a long time. It works great on all my carbon steel and Damascus knives as well as my handgun parts.
