Definitely a good safety can, doesn’t drip gas when using the funnel attached correctly, my only issue is attaching the funnel, the handle and the cap doesn’t come back far enough, so it makes it a little awkward

These are the best safety cans you can get. Well worth it if you have the cash and don't want to deal with the nonsense of those plastic slide safety on the spout.

Just what I needed

I absolutely love the Eagle 5 Gallon Red Safety Gas Can! I’ve used plenty of plastic gas cans in the past, but none of them compare to this one. The build quality is top-notch – it feels solid and durable, and it’s much more stable than the plastic containers I’ve had before. I’ve noticed that it doesn’t flip over in the back of my truck, even when I’m driving on rough roads, which is a huge bonus. Seems good. Came dented. Eagle should put some foam inside the box or Amazon put the product in a box with foam prevent damage during shipping.

Please don't but the plastic trash from the big box stores.I've had this for about a year. The spot I need a bit of manhandling to install and remove. But it does a great job of ensuring nothing spills. I was so sick of spilling fuel every time I used the 5 gallon plastic tanks. No matter how tight the cap was shut it would always leak.Now, whenever I had the plastic containers in the car - when I took them to the pump for refilling - the car would smell of gas for days. I just took this on a drive from VA to MI and back. No one could tell I had this in the car.This is a quality product. If still be wary of throwing it around. So I keep it in a clean rubber tray on the floor. I would not store it directly in the concrete floor as they're could be small stones that could puncture it. I'm not saying they would - I just don't want to risk it.

It's hard to explain how much I love this gas can. Like many of you I have spent my life fighting cheap gas cans that spill and dealing with broken lids and crappy funnels made out of throwaway plastic. I know this gas can costs a lot but you will thank yourself every time you pick it up and fill the quality in your hand. Life is too short to have a garbage gas can and I guarantee you the money you save by getting the cheap ones isn't going to make you happy. This is the greatest gas can on Earth and I have 4 of them. I can't recommend these enough because they're just that good. Stop reading reviews and buy this gas can write this second. Then go eat a medium rare steak and know that you have preserved what's great about America.
