Hat Boxes

After getting the hang of the assembly, I felt accomplished! Used for storage of various sizes and seasons of hats; perfect fit, especially since light-weight items can be placed on top of box during storage.

I have been searching for hat boxes that I could store my wide-brimmed hats in. That large size I couldn’t find under $100 (IF I did find one). These hat boxes are perfect (bought 2)! I used shiny black spray paint for the box and chrome silver spray paint on the lids. Look beautiful on my closet shelf! Note: I did Not paint the insides of hat boxes because the paint may rub off onto hats and I didn’t want to weaken the cardboard.

Not exactly an exact 22” had box. It needs to be a bit larger to fully accommodate a true 22” diameter hat. I deducted a point for that. In addition, a deduction was for both the thickness/sturdiness for the corrugated box thickness. It could be thicker which would provide more sturdiness. I would not make this box a bottom stacked box.

The cardboard was too stiff to assemble according to the instructions. Had to buy an industrial staple gun to assemble it. That was another $13 down the drain as the cardboard was too thick for the staple gun. Quite frankly the only thing that would work is investing in a commercial construction level electric staple gun. Not doing it!

Used this box for a Hat Box. This box is large enough for one of the beautiful large hats the women wear for the Derby Races.

Need extra large hat boxes for Garden party hats for the British Invasion in RI Need something sturdy for shipping. These were perfect! I hate to see what the shipping charges will be!😉
