It is super long, which I immediately disliked, and the first three parts connected but I didn't know how it would just blow up in the end. Each part is a completely different storyline, which I at first thought was stupid until part 4. Everything connected - and you really have to think about everything which I love. The ending was the absolute BEST ending I've ever read. ever. EVERYTHING made sense. I had to use my brain, and everything was a puzzle piece. I've never been a fan of magic and fantasy books - but this book had enough where it wasn't to much or not enough. It's a little bit hard to get into, but in the end it just goes together so beautifully. 100/10. Also, I had just finished a story that moved me beyond anything I had ever read before. So, I was determined to try this thinking that I would be safe from all of that...WRONG. This story is very moving, very real-to-life with fantasy swirling all around you. For those that reviewed it as being confusing...give it another shot because you will figure it all out...just keep reading. That's what great challenging books do...they make you embrace every fiber of your being.
