Develop dexterity, problem-solving and reasoning skills, hand/eye coordination, colour, shape, size identification, and most of all the spelling skills that these big, bright, multi-coloured letters can accomplish for the pre-schoolers. The letters in the Set of Vowels are cut from individual pieces of wood. They are free standing so as to line up or lie down. The pieces are light in weight, large in size, so pre-schoolers can work with them easily. All are precut, safe, sturdy and water-resistant. The colours are non-toxic and stain-like impregnated finishes. The Vowels are all coloured in : YELLOW. The Alphabet Letters & Colors Used are as follows: A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W x Y Z Consonants are a rotation of the following colours : RED BLUE ORANGE BROWN PURPLE GREEN BLACK The size of the letters are approximately 2-1/4 in. wide, 3-1/2 in. and 1-1/2 in. thick. The letters of the Alphabet Set are phonetically coloured so as to aid a young child in spelling words by way of breaking down the words into syllables. The one primary colour, Yellow, is on all of the Vowels ( A E I O U ), and the balance of letters, made up of Consonants, are coloured by the remaining (2) primary colours, the (3)secondary colours, plus (2) combination colours, Black and Brown. Please note here that the Alphabet Set is coloured Phonetically, to assist the youngster to Enunciate Syllables and Pronounce Words.
