If you need cushion or warmth, as well as bigger socks, then these are for you.For me, they are too heavy to wear in the summer with sneakers. I've been trying to find a thinner sock of the more typical weight in a bigger shoe size (women's 9-12), but no luck. Target used to carry what I like, but discontinued. I think the specs on this sock should mention how thick they are all over, not just on the bottom for cushion. You'll have trouble fitting into your running shoes with these on.

I bought these as a cheaper alternative to Hanes. I find these more comfortable and they don’t shrink in the washer/ dryer.
